Enjoyed a lovely stay at Galare. Wonderful value for money and extremely helpful staff. The location was very close to the markets and a short walk to the old city. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

A nice quiet guest house in a secluded spot near the Ping River. Five minute walk to the Night Bazaar. Friendly staff with clean and comfortable rooms. A bargain price considering the location and facilities provided. I would thoroughly recommend as accomodation in Chiang Mai.

The front desk tries it best to help you even though they hardly speak English. But they make it up in effort! De beds are nice and soft, the towels are soft and the atmosphere is very good! Location just outside several bazaars. And nice good market

The Galare guest house is perfect for people who want to be close to the main attractions whilst also wanting a relaxing and quiet stay, the breakfast is a reasonable price and all the staff are very friendly. The only thing was the shower took a while to get warm and the shower head wasn't too great but that didn't...

We had a nice experience at the guest house. The room was dated and the bathroom could have been cleaner, however our overall experience was fine. A couple downsides: the wifi was unreliable and was down for a large part of our stay. Additionally, very few of the taxi or Tuk Tuk driver knew where it was making it a...

Galare is a wonderful place to stay in Chiangmai. It is within an easy walk of the municipal markets, the night bazaar and the Muslim quarter. At the same time, Galare is quiet and serene, with gardens and a restaurant on the bank of the River Ping. The Chiangmai natives who own and operate Galare truly preserve the northern Thai...

This delightful little guesthouse sits on the banks of the Ping River... It's secluded yet still convenient position makes it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Our room off an upstairs balcony gave us uninterrupted views over a tropical garden and out over the river... Cane armchairs outside of our room meant we could relax and have a...

What a wonderful establishment! We had the most relaxing time here. Everything about this place was perfect. Big spacious room serviced every day by staff that rates a 10 out of 10.The biggest king bed in all my years of travelling. Big coffee cups which the others don't seem to provide. A balcony that allowed you to have a beer...

As a single woman traveler, I value the care and courtesy I received at Galare Guest House. They set up a zipline experience, a cooking class, a trip to Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle, and a personal Temple Tour in the city. The staff went out of their way to be helpful in every aspect of my stay.

This is our third stay with Galare and we find it very relaxing and quiet here. The decor is a bit dated, but the beds and pillows are really comfortable and everything is super clean. The location is very close to the night markets and there are lots of options for eating within a few minutes walk. The restaurant here...
