I live in Thailand and visit Chiang Mai every few weeks. Almost every time I come, I stay at SoHo. The staff isn't the friendliest or the most helpful, but I've never had any major problems with the rooms. Locks aren't provided for the lockers like a lot of the other hostels I've stayed at. The bathrooms are full of...

Definitely the hostel has a great location: 10min walking to night bazaar and about 5 minutes (or less) for saturday night bazaar. There are many restaurants with good food closely and many massage house on the street. The room I stayed was a double bed and it's big and confortable. 1.2 km and you'll at the main temple of Chiang...

Ive been living and backpacking through Southeast Asia for a year and a half now and have never come across a hostel staff this unpleasant and unhelpful. My friend and I arrived early (due to a change in transportation) and asked if we could check in early and they continued to refuse because they insisted that the hostel was booked...

Sohostel is really good value for money. I booked a private room with a double bed and it was comfy and clean plus new water everyday and hung it on the door. There's a good atmosphere, free tea and coffee facilities and the staff are really helpful.

Stayed here as a group of 4 at the start of a 3 week trip. We arrived early so had to leave our Bags but the from this point i could already say where improvements were needed. There were 4 members of staff behind the check in counter all playing cards and unaware to begin with that we were standing...

Stayed here back in January for a couple of nights, as we were going to Elephant Nature Park and were being picked up on the Monday AM. It is a hostel, but has a few rooms that sleep 3 people and have your own ensuite aka a wet room. Great location, not too much of a busy road. Would stay...

Staying here was a big mistake. Hostel is located in a decent position but other than that is pretty orrible. Rooms and bathrooms are dirty and were never cleaned during out stay. The whole place is full of bugs and small animals. Staff is friendly but doesn't speak english and therefore not helpful at all. Not recommended.

Were meant to stay here for two nights but left after a few minutes! Bathrooms were full of bugs, showers were small and very dirty and we saw a rat in a window of the kitchen area! Language barrier also proved a problem as we had issues trying to check in originally! Steer clear!

Booked 3 nights here in an 8 bed female dorm after having our booking at our first choice of hostel cancelled last minute in mid-July 2016; this hostel is very large and had plenty of space in all options of accommodation. The location is good- very close to the night bazaar and within walking distance of many busy bars and...
