Very good atmosphere and awesome host to look after you. The dorms are clean and it's in the old town of chiang mai. I will stay here for 3 nights probably and so far it is one of the best places I've seen on my travel through south east asia

The Thailandwow guesthouse was very clean. Has a great lounge area to take a nap or enjoy a coffee, plenty of space to socialize. Our air conditioner worked well. Khai helped setup an elephant trip and a ride to Pai, the elephant trip he recommended for us was amazing! Would definitely come back.

Nice dorm rooms, good food, free breakfast, and Kai - the owner is the nicest guy ever. We let him do all of our trip planning and it was so much cheaper than all the other travel agents and so much better ( when comparing stories with others unsatisfied ). Perfect backpackers spot in Old Town, Chiang Mai ).

I've stayed at Thailandwow on two separate occasions, in 2013 and this past October. The hospitality of the owners make this a very special place in Chiang Mai. Kai truly goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. He helped us book a great cooking class and an amazing non-touristic 3 day trek... and then cooked dinner for...

This is by far the best hostel I've been to. Mainly because of the fantastic owner khai who really goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay. Can't recommend highly enough. Irish Mark

Thanks to the reviews I had read of Thailandwow, I was excited to stay there as a solo traveler. What I was most looking for was making friends, and the niceness/cleanliness of the hostel came second. It was probably just my luck, but no one at the hostel seemed welcoming (a lot of them were travelling in groups and didn't...

The staff is gorgeous, we loved Khai and the girls! It was such a warm and lovely atmosphere! The location is very good, you can walk to the night markets and to nearly every place in the old town. The public park nearby is also very nice. The staff helps you with booking trips und makes life very easy. The...

In addition to basics like good internet, Kai provides so much hospitality and generosity for his guests. He is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with making arrangements to see the area outside of Chang Mai and transportation to the next destination. We even had an impromptu cooking class!

I stayed here for 4 nights in the room with AC. Like all the other reviews say, the owner knows everything about everything you can do in Chiang Mai and he has verified the quality of most things he offers himself (my cooking class teacher knew him by his first name) he has great advice everything and can help you...

Stayed here for two nights and it was good! Nice common area, dorms are good but really basic. I recommend to book a room with airco, although these are still very hot as the doors don't really close and they switch the airco off during the day. Owner is nice and very helpful!
