I went to this hotel for a conference and was very pleased. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They offered a breakfast buffet was very good. Overall I highly recommend. The only thing that surprised me was that they charged to use the pool. It wasn't expensive, but I had never experienced that.

Was a guest at Lotus for 8 nights - attending business conference and of course touring Chiang Mai. The good: Great breakfast buffet, huge hotel with beautiful conference facilities, tremendous food served for conference attendees. Location can't be beat as connects inside directly to Central Plaza Shopping Center - and can spend hours in there. The staff all courteous and...

Online pictures far exceed the reality of this hotel which is a faded and worn impression of what it may have previously been. Jam packed full of coach loads of tourists, very few independent travellers.

We loved the spacious rooms here. We are a family of four and had two interconnected rooms, there was plenty of space to spread out. The pool is large and clean andf a real treat after a days sight seeing. The reakfast buffet was pretty good but other food we had here wasn't great. The staff weren't particulalry friendly but...

The only thing that made this hotel worth while was the pool and outdoor garden area. I could stay out there all day and they have a small but good menu outside. This hotel is really outdated. The AC doesn't go below 25 C (?) in the room. The rooms stay stuffy and don't have good circulation even with the...

I know some swimmingpools in Chiang Mai, this is one of the best. 150 Thb, good beds and towel, shade and sun, as you want. The best time for swimming until 2 p.m., the pool is empty. You can find the entrence of the hotel through the Kad Suan Kaew plaza. The pool is on the 7th floor.

The hotel has many rooms with big swimming pool and big room, inside the room is old fashion, some amenities not available; shoes, coffee (but kettle available),no bidet faucet. Reasonable price to pay, there is shuttle or taxi service to airport at hotel that's good to not walk to grab by ourself. Location is ok, not far from dining places...
