A great environment for families. The bamboo huts are new and highly equipped. The staff are helpful and polite and the guesthouse is in the center of everything so we didn't have to use transportation. Plus the restaurant has delicious food. A very good choice indeed.

Stayed there for 5 nights in a double bedroom with fan and shared bathroom. The room is quite big and clean. The staff is really nice and helpful if they can and they have cheap rate. I have read several bad comments about Jaidii, but let me clear something out when people said that the shower and toilets are dirty....

This is a great guesthouse. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm for three days, met some awesome people. I read the previous review and i don't understand. The toilets are fully functional and there was no noise from construction since it happens in front of the place. Mis Oi told me that at November 7 it will be finished.The...

I stayed here for one night in their dormitory. Right now they are rebuilding the place, so the entrance is a bit hidden behind construction and the bathrooms don't work yet (since they are new) so you have to use the bathroom of one of the private rooms. It might be a little unfair to hold this 'against' them but...

The room was very clean and the staff very polite. The Guesthouse is in the best location in the center of the city five minutes from Tha Pae Gate. They also have an organic restaurant with delicious food and beverages. We stayed through the low season so it was quiet and we liked it. Good choice and very nice people....

At late arrival they just leave the keys for you on the desk. We had a double room upstairs with balcony, no nightstands or any surface to place any belongings which made our room a complete mess. The fan was not adequate in cooling down the big room. The rooms seem to be constantly hotter than outside, or in the...

We were staying at Jaidii in September 2015 for a few nights and were very happy with the place! The location is perfect, near the market inside the old part of Chiang Mai. The women working there were really nice, always asking us, how we were doing and helping us book a cooking class and giving us advice what to...

We booked to stay here after staying at Chana place as we wanted to save a bit of money. When we arrived we were put in a 'bungalow room' which is not what we had booked on hostel world (standard double room). The room was an outside hut, which would be fine except the window was wooden bars which had...

Jaidii Guesthouse is a home-style guesthouse in the heart of Chiang Mai's old city. We are known locally for being the big house with the green garden and bamboo huts just past Somphet Market. We are close to Moonmuang Road - a main road of Chiang Mai City. We are just 1 minute's walk from Somphet Food Market, and 5 minutes from the Sunday Market (handicrafts and more food). Our rooms: *Double with bathroom *Double with balcony (shared bathroom) *Dormitory (6 beds, shared bathroom) *Bamboo huts - double (shared bathroom). What we offer: *Free tea, coffee and water*Honesty policy on cheap drinks *Garden with chairs and tables for relaxing and socializing*Advice and bookings for tours, courses etc. ) Jai Dii means 'good heart' or 'kind heart'. We aim to make our guests' stay here feel as relaxing and homey as possible. We love our garden, especially as it is so hard to find green spaces in the city!
