Rooms and common areas are very good. Breakfast is good but there arr not many choises. The restaurant is great. The only thing is that I booked a deluxe room with a terrace and they gave us anotherone... They told us the room was already ocuped... Leak of profesionalism...

Near to city centre, approx 15-20 minutes walk, lots of red"taxis" in the area but getting one back was not the easiest, many drivers only seem to know the YMCA, about 5 min walk. Busy local street with lots of excellent food stalls, but in the grounds of the hotel it is very peaceful, steams, fishes, birds, trees all blending...

With the hustle of Loy Krathong, I was looking for a quiet place to stay away from the center of Old Town. And...I think I found it...almost. Santitham Guest House is about a 15 minute walk from the edge of Old Town (about 45 minutes from Sunday Walking Street). The street it's on is very busy, but behind the gate,...

This place is really a little oasis slightly North of the old center of Chiang Mai. The place is like a small piece of peaceful Jungle with water running everywhere and full of small decorative details. We had a nice villa (an executive we think) with a shower nicely decorated and with plants growing both inside and outside the shower....

If you're interested in an area of town where more of the locals hang out, this is a great spot. A ton of food vendors pop up at night, and it's a short 10 minute walk to a ton of fantastic non-touristy restaurants (near the soi 6 and The Jeffers -don't know what it's called). It's about 20 minutes or...

We stayed at Santitham for two nights during our visit to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner Noland, and were immediately blown away by the ambiance. With lush foliage and the serene sounds of a small stream and chirping birds, one gets the feeling of being in a hidden monastery deep in the jungle. Our room...

For the past nine years, I have made Santitham Guest House my place to stay in Chiang Mai. It has become a home away from home for me with the graciousness of the people and comforts of the accommodations. It is like an oasis almost literally with such gorgeous gardens. The location is central and bikes are available so get...

I found the staff (in particular the manager Nat and the owner Nolan) to be very friendly and helpful. We visited during July, so there was a lot of mosquitoes about. When the staff heard about how we'd had difficulty sleeping, they went out and bought a mosquito net for our room so we didn't to worry about being bitten....

Tucked away in the Chang Phuek district is this lovely little gem of a guest house with a garden, small gym area, a restaurant right next door, and wonderful staff. Thai hospitality at it's best. I come to Chiang Mai every year and always stay at Santitham!
