Pictures don’t really capture how beautiful and peaceful this place is, or how lovely it is to eat breakfast in the garden with the sound of the waterfall in the background.

The breakfast buffet had exactly the kinds of food we wanted, in addition to some new things to try, and we looked forward to it each day.

If you have back problems, you’ll find the dining chairs are more attractive than comfortable.

I would suggest that the hotel keep some glass or plastic covers over the fresh fruit plates at the buffet.

Food was delicious at dinner, also, but we found that part of the fun of Chiang Mai comes from trying as many of the delicious and inexpensive restaurants in the city as humanly possible.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and nice, especially at breakfast. They were able to arrange a tour for us on short notice.

We were a little sad to end our stay here, but we may be back someday.

This is a lovely hotel, with spacious rooms full of Thai features, and gorgeous gardens and pool. An oasis in a busy area. The staff could not have been more helpful, even with extra requests. For breakfast we could sit in the lovely courtyard surrounded by birdsong and foliage, and there was a lounge with chaises longues for lazy breaks from sightseeing. Very close to night markets and wats.

Great location, very traditional hotel in great location. Spacious rooms excellent AC and amenities. Well priced and close to many restaurants in the old city. Breakfast is included, it is geared to an Asian clientele so stir fried food and noodles are abundant. The omelet was my daily staple. They could change their cereal for something healthier (Fruitloops are not the really for breakfast anymore, perhaps Raisin Bran or even Cornflakes or porridge for cereal). Great bread and fresh assortment of fruit and yoghurt are a daily treat.

The service provided by staff at this hotel was exceptional, nothing seemed too hard for them. The hotel is right in the centre of OldTown and many sights are in walking distance. The breakfast started your day well with a great cooked to order egg station.

The Kodchasri Thani is a gorgeous hotel located in a great area of Chiang Mai’s old city. The hotel itself is really well maintained and has so much gorgeous woodwork. I also appreciated the pool and shaded outdoor hang out area on the ground floor. Definitely a place that I enjoyed coming back to after exploring the city. I also really loved being close to the Chiang Mai Gate Market—so much good food! I would stay here again.

We arrived after a late flight to a warm welcome. The staff were, without fail, smiley and helpful. The location of the hotel was ideal for our itinerary. The room was large and clean. As noted by a number of reviewers the bed was particularly hard though the hotel did add a mattress topped when we requested one. Breakfast was ample.

Found this hotel by chance. We were staying at another hotel but were so disappointed with it we decided to book ourselves into Kodchasri Thani. Best move we made. We enjoyed our 2 day stay immensely. It is a brand new hotel with no expense spared. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast was great. The pool is amazing and facilities are 5 star. Free wifi to the rooms.
Highly recommend. We would only stay here if we went back to Chiang Mai.

This very new hotel is the best hotel we have ever been before (and we travel a lot and have already seen lot of beautiful hotels because of our work)!!
The service was perfect, same as the price, food, rooms and the pool in this wonderful garden is a dream!!
The hotels furniture is amazing beautiful and you get every day tea and cookies to your room before you go to bed :-)
Also the bathroom is so nice, everywhere these beautiful orchids and wood.
We enjoyed our stay a lot and everytime we will come to Chiang Mai again we will stay in this amazing hotel with the friendliest people ever!
Thank you so much,
Warm greetings from Austria,
Michaela and Thomas.
