Dark with no windows, small and cramped. Room is basic, as is the common area. Just OK and people nice, but way overpriced. Very limited parking, really only two spaces. Good location down dead end skinny alley. Smokers using common areas can be a problem as place is small.

When we arrieved at Saithong Guesthose, we were positively surprised how charming it looked, even if we felt insecure walking there along a small street. I have to say the atmosphere was nice. We like the color windows, the chilliout area and the wooden design. The staff was very friendly!! We felt welcome! But turning now to the minus: 1....

Super central guesthouse in Chiang Mai. You can walk just about everywhere from here, and still it's quiet. The room is clean and cosy - they decorate it with coloured glass and actually made an effort of the decor. The room is to the smaller side, but you can easily manage. The only comment on the downside is that there...

Very interesting place with extra friendly owners! We had a great time here, so I can recommend this place to all adventurous travelers... Have a map before you go there, as it is hard to find it. There were also some bugs around, as the whole place looks like small jungle, but you'll get used to it in Thailand, so...

Only stayed here for a night. The mosquitoes were practically camping in the room and no coils were allowed!! With the dim/romantic lights, we had to use human bait to exterminate them! The tv didnt work too well but wifi was fine. The hot water came in waves, like a pattern switching between lukewarm and hot water. Aircon was really...

The title says it all really! This guest house is central and well priced. The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard and, although you're in the centre of Chiang Mai, there's very little noise. The staff were keen to help and would book things for you like motorbike hire at prices that (unlike at many hotels) were not inflated....

My partner and I stayed here for for four nights. It is a small family run guest house in a really good location that is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, transport. The rooms are basic but clean, the family that run it are lovely and helpful if you needed any tour info or to hire a bike. We...

This guesthouse is beautifully decorated and that is pretty much it. At 750 baht a night it leaves much to be desired in comparison to other guesthouses right across the street from it. Comparable guesthouses cost half as much and include a basic breakfast. Beds may as well have been made from a slab of cement--- seriously. Beautiful rooms, very...

Great location. Rooms cleaned daily (& mosi-killer sprayed inside every evening). Pretty little place boasting a superb location. Run by a truly lovely young local family with 2 very polite young boys. Of course there are neighbour's dogs nearby, its central Old-town Chiang Mai! Will definitely come back here. Very family friendly owners.
