Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very comfortable hotel, well situated in Chiang Mai’s old city. It’s a short walk to loads of restaurants and bars, and the Sunday street market is also close by. The Room was outstanding - very comfortable bed, fresh bottles of water every day (and a fridge), excellent bathroom with great toiletries. Our room overlooked the pool. Breakfast - outstanding. Freshly cooked eggs and everything you might want for a healthy start to the day. Staff - outstanding in every way. Helpful, polite and really caring a great deal to do the best job. Reception very helpful. Pool - a very welcome facility in the heat.

We had 4 nights in this boutique hotel. It’s very clean and the rooms comfortable. I don’t think we had the plushest rooms as we had the two bed family suite but we had a private garden with furniture which was lovely and we used a lot. The pool is lovely but there aren’t many loungers which meant we could only use it once as we had the garden we still had somewhere to sit out but if you didn’t that could be an issue. Staff lovely. Breakfast good. A bar would be nice or drinks to the room as we arrived late from UK and had to go to the 7/11 on arrival to get drinks. Lovely location, quiet and in old town which is much nicer than over the river! So many temples all a stone’s throw away - wish we had longer to explore all the local ones. Go to the The House by Ginger restaurant- it’s incredible!

A small hotel tucked away within the old city. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet. We had a spacious room and huge modern bathroom with a fabulous shower. Lovely pool. Really nice breakfast room with attentive staff. A hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

Really pleased we booked this lovely hotel; good location in walking distance to restaurants, cafes and bars etc. Clean, comfortable bedroom and friendly staff! The only reason for 4* is because the pool area is small and there’s only 6 sun beds which are mostly in the shade throughout the day too. I would recommend staying here to friends and family if they were visiting.

Beautiful boutique hotel in an excellent location. Staff was very friendly, and the buffet breakfast had lovely fresh produce. The rooms are very clean with a massive bed. The pool was thankfully in the shade, so the cool water was very welcome.

Great hotel, the location in old town made it easy to explore and see temples, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the internet is mediocre- my work calls dropped 8 times over the course of an hour. Made it very difficult to get anything done. It’s also located directly across from a school, so if you are leaving for early morning tours be aware that the shuttle will be delayed by all the parents dropping off their kids.

Lovely staff, really helpful and friendly especially the man who sits out the front and helped with our bags who was always smiling. Great location was able to walk to everything in the Old City. Room was beautiful and whole place very aesthetic especially the bathroom! House keeping great, room kept really clean. Only thing that stopped it being 5 stars is breakfast was pretty average especially in consideration that there are lots of cafes and food spots locally that are cheaper but I didn’t go to Chiang Mai to stay in eating at the hotel so not too much of a big deal. Again really pleasant stay and would recommend.

We have just completed a 4 night stay at the hotel. There are many plus points about the stay including the size of the room (304), the location and the breakfast. All very good. On the negative side there is considerable inter room noise particularly early morning from neighbours and housekeeping. We were often woken by furniture scrapping and loud footsteps. Hose keeping is poor as the room was full of hairs when we checked in and the bedroom slippers were dirty. We requested a new pair but housekeeping brought another used pair saying they do not have new. Lastly the internet connection is good but you need to check in every time you enter the room which is annoying. Overall a nice stay but probably our last.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is on a side road but the area felt totally safe. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was complementary water, coke and lemon tea. There’s also complimentary coffee and biscuits by the pool. It’s in Chiang Mai old town and close to the main sites therein. The staff were all super friendly and so very, very helpful in reuniting my wife with her phone which fell out of her pocket in the taxi to the airport and which we only discovered in the departure lounge! They get top marks!!
