Planning my next trip to Chiang Mai and will definitely stay in this boutique hotel again. I loved the old Thai style rooms, the relaxing atmosphere, and the convenience. The staff are cute and helpful, and enjoyed having a drink or something to eat by the river. If the boys didn't keep me busy in the evening, the old city...

I do not usually make long comments after my stays however today I would like to express my appreciation for the work of this staff. I found them particularly conscientious and focused on their tasks, whether in the guesthouse or in the spa. All are not equally smiling, each one has his own nature but all observe the same seriousness...

Well, have returned home from Club One Seven Chiang Mai completely relaxed and refreshed. Quite an experience. If you are travelling and looking for a five-star luxury hotel & resort where you can be anonymous and just another traveller - then Club One Seven is NOT for you! From the moment the staff greeted us at the airport through check out time, I can't say enough great things about Club One Seven. Excellent service. Great breakfast. Nice sauna. Rooms were very clean and daily room cleaning and spruce up was tremendous!

Room was traditional teak and very nice, no smoke smell and comfortable bed. Staff very helpful. I check-in during lunch time but cook wasn't in, so, person that checked me in said he could cook up fried rice if I want, and yes, it was good. Also, if u want to be naked, staff don't mind. Gym is not 5star...

Enigmatic staff. Property collapsing by the yard. Rooms just holding but no TV for nine nights. The electric shock on the right arm. Shot me back so hard I hit the wall. Then the catastrophic explosion behind. No hot water for 4 days. Anyway the sheer hell of it led us to stay on. Not for the faint hearted. Nor...

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review and share your experience. The colourful account of your stay has encouraged me to reply and give our sincere apologies. On the evening you arrived, Chiang Mai experienced a very bad electrical storm which blew up the transformer on the street in front of Club One Seven. This caused...

This hotel is a boutique hotel - it's set in a 130 year old traditional northern Thai house. But don't let the age fool you to thinking that amenities and facilities are "traditional" or outdated as well. On the contrary, great water pressure and hot water on demand in the bathrooms with toothbrush, Colgate toothpaste, earbuds provided. A safe in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built circa 1880, Club One Seven Chiang Mai, with its peaked roof and wide veranda porches, are a perfect example of an old-fashioned Thai style teak wood house that sits in a lush tropical garden. There's a real friendly ambiance that makes guests content to just spend time relaxing around the place particularly at one of the favored spots - overlooking the serene Ping River. For those just looking to unwind, read a book and use up as little energy as possible, this is certainly a place to consider. Club One Seven is a full service facility not just a guesthouse. Additional to the guesthouse there is a gym, swimming pool with jacuzzi jets, steam room, sauna, massage salon, internet tv room and cafe. Regular monthly party events are held on the 1st, 7th, 17th and 27th of the month as well as special holidays. Club One Seven Chiang Mai, is one of the more unusual places you will find designed for the gay male community. ... more   less
