The hotel was nice, super clean, and walking distance from most highlights. But the best are the owners, who receive you in their hotel with open arms and help you arrange activities. We booked either a zip line and a elephant camp day trip through the hotel, both were excellent. Besides, its close to 3 bars, and a range of...

I have to admit it... Nice people always get me, and the owners of The Britannia are the best!!! Fantastic thai lady and her NZ husband (congrats on winning the world cup again). Really kind and helpful. The guest house is cute (only 12 rooms) and the rooms pretty big. We stayed on the top floor with our own balcony...

I stayed here for 7 days and had the best experience. The couple that runs this place are so friendly and accommodating. They will help you book any tour you want and are very honest about which ones are good and bad. The housekeeper is also so sweet and nice. I had my laundry done twice while here and everything...

The Britannia was one of the best guesthouse we stayed at in our thailand trip: it was more than worth the price, very clean and the owners were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our 5 days in chiang mai and will stay at britannia again if we come back to thailand!

I stayed at the Britannia for 3 nights in October. Upon reaching the property - which is located very conveniently within the walls of the old city, walking distance to everything you want to see in Chiang Mai - you are immediately taken in by its colourful colonial-style design. In the immediate vicinity of the Britannia are several bars and...

Loved staying at The Britannia - the staff was very nice and hospitable and truly made me feel at home (which is a nice feeling when you're traveling by yourself in Thailand). Would definitely recommend to other solo travelers as well as the location and price cannot be beat - close to all markets, temples and restaurants.

We are still staying at The Britannia as I type this review and we are so glad that we stayed here as it's close to many bars and great eats. At first, we were quite skeptical as we have never stayed in a guest house; however, it was the price, location, and great reviews that had us booking here. The...

Had a great stay at The Britannia. Both owners spoke fluent English and were very helpful with activities. We booked a cooking class and Elephant Nature Park through them and in return they paid for our ride to the airport. Our room was clean upon arrival and cleaned daily. It is also in a great location within the Old Chiang...

We stayed 4 nights at the Britannia and it was beyond excellent. I have tons of pros and no cons whatsoever. 1. The hosts were nothing but nice from day one. They helped us booked tours, gave us tips on how to get around and suggested we go to Blue Diamond restaurant down the street (HUGE THANK YOU FOR THIS)....

The Brittania is a very clean, friendly hostel. The kiwi owner and his Thai wife made us feel at home and were very helpful without talking us in one of the many trek kings or tours. The pubs in soi 9 are sometimes a bit noisy so if you're a light sleeper take care you have a room at the...
