Location is very good, with lots of places to eat, laundry, and a small shop nearby. The hotel is very quiet, as it's set back from the road. The public areas and dining area are very attractive, cool and shady, with plants and flowers. We were in the new part, and our room on the third floor was very clean...

We stayed 10 days. The hotel is near the Chiang Mai Gate. The hotel has several sections: backpacker rooms, rooms is what looks like a temple, an older wing, and a newer wing. We first stayed in the newer wing on the third floor. Great AC, spacious, comfortable and clean. One of us had to change rooms and was moved...

We arrived at the hotel and the receptionist didn't know our name although we had a reservation via booking.com. After a while they found a room for us (superior double). It was a separate wooden building but the room was quite nice and clean. But the way to the bathroom lead through a storage room with a big window front....

We booked for one night and stayed for 4. Perfect area inside the wall, walking distance to all the attractions. They really try to help you with whatever you need. It's a cute boutique style hotel. Nice little garden/courtyard where they serve breakfast. We decided to rent a scooter and drive to pai for a couple days. They even allowed...

My dad and I spent three nights in the Pha-Thai house and loved it! By far the best place we stayed on our two week adventure. We got this recommendation from a local family friend, we were a little weary since it did not have as many reviews as other hotels, but I can not praise this place enough. They...

Travelling with 2 families (with lots of kids) demands some preperation. Therefore, we have booked 4 deluxe rooms at Pha-Thai House, recommended by a friend. In October '15, I booked the rooms for 3 nights in August '16, good organised & well in advance, I thought. In June, I have sent a re-confirmation via mail but I receive an answer...

The hotel staff are helpful and the pool is small but clean. Very chilled relaxed place lovely bar on site too we spent a few nights in. The room is perfectly sized and...

Stayed here for 3N due to proximity to rock climbing gym but found it just ok. Rooms on 3rd floor are dated and old, service staff not always present. Bed was not too comfortable and toilet was quite nasty. Guesthouse has a pool though, so that's a plus.

Thank Gary C
