I stayed here four nights as part of a package deal, so I didn't select it. Best to know what you are getting into. Per previous reviews, it is far outside of town. It cost 300 baht for the taxi (the red truck) to go into town. This is a group price, so if several people go, it isn't that... More

I stayed here for four weeks while doing International House CELTA. On arrival I was given an A4, closely-typed sheet of 'Prohibitions and Rules' and that summed up the proprietor's approach to us as guests. The rooms are fine and the pool is lovely. The bed is hard - as are all the beds I've slept in in Thailand. No... More

This hotel is totally isolated with virtually nothing nearby other than strange aggressive looking dogs. Taxi drivers are unable to find the hotel and often get lost even with a map. The staff are only helpful if you ask them to do something 24hours in advance so that they can get some kind of extra commission. The rooms are only... More

I stayed here for a month while doing a CELTA course. The room itself was of a good standard and was generally clean. The bed was comfortable and the bath was great! As others have noted there is quite a bit of noise from planes and the 'gunshots', but I found that the room was relatively soundproof if the balcony... More

My husband and I stayed at Assaradevi in January of 2015 for one month on business. Our room was roomy and clean with plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. The downside to this place is the noise. Bizarrely random gunshots are fired at close range all day on most days. We asked everyone why this was so and... More

Spent a month here for the CELTA course. I'll start with the good... The rooms are very clean, and I never saw a single bug or lizard in there. They're well-kept and decorated just fine, the pool's nice, and sitting out on the balcony and relaxing is lovely. The staff is amiable enough, and the owner is keen to chat... More

We booked our holiday quite late so there weren't many options left. But the website looked promising so we went for this one instead of a hotel in a high rise building in the middle of town since it looked more 'resort style'. However we knew something was up when no one at the taxi counter at Chiang Mai airport... More

If you want 5* don't stay here. Go pay through the nose at a top end hotel in Chiang Mai. If you want a 5 euro accommodation...don't stay here go and stay in the noise and pollution in Chiang Mai. Yes its on the flight path for the airport but given the airport is near the town centre so are... More

Stay away!!! This hotel is not in Chiang Mai City, it is 13 kms outside of he city. And directly on the flight path so a plane is overhead every five minutes (this is not an exaggeration). The staff, Mr. Lek is not helpful, and is rude and confrontational when we've asked for information. The owner lives at the back... More
