Friendly owner and professional trainers, would definitely come back for another training! Suitable for all levels and can train up to 4 times a day.

Front desk was also very helpful, had tons of recommendations on places to visit in the city / around the area.

Within walking distance to some nice cafes, local restaurants, grocery and convenience stores.

Amazing experience. We stayed at the camp chiang mai for 1 month. we trained every day and loved every second of it. The trainers are excellent and really make the whole experience very enjoyable. We had never done Muay Thai before so the trainers had amazing patients with us. The facility is world class and a fantastic place to train. The staff around the resort are also so lovely and attentive. They treat you so well at the camp. We travelled in Thailand for 5 months but the Muay Thai camp was our favourite experience. You need to come here if you visit Thailand.

We stayed in THE CAMP for one week.
The team gave us a warm welcome.
The rooms are clean and modern.
The gym itself is clean and is well equipped with a lot of heavy bags and even a weight--training area. It is probably the cleanest Muay Thai gym I ever visited in Thailand.
The coaches take you by the hand and teach you patiently. I have some martial arts experience and they really give you great insights in Muay Thai. I always had a personal trainer and he took great care of me.
Of course, the training is demanding and exhausting, but thats the way it should be. I had some great muscle pain ;-)
I will definitely come back in order to learn more.
Thanks to the team!

Great place to go if you want to get top quality Muay Thai training and live a unique human experience.
All the trainers are great Thai fighters and great teachers. Challenging, caring and with a good sense of humour.
No matter how old you are, from beginners to professional champions, they can teach to everyone.
Plus they speak english too so communication is easy.
All the people working at the camp and the hotel are very good people too, welcoming, helpful and friendly, they’ll make you feel at home as soon as you get there.
You’ll find plenty of good restaurants close to the camp, the old city is not far and there are mountains around if you wanna go hiking.
So my advice, if you wanna go and discover Thailand, go to Chiangmai.
If you wanna live a strong experience in the Thai culture and meet great people go to the Camp Muay Thai Resort Academy, you won’t regret it.
Personally, I am already planning on going again as soon as I can.

What a great Muay Thai place this is!

Clean, professional and great trainers with humour as well! Most have a good level of English.

It doesn’t matter if you are a first timer, more experienced or professional. They give you the right training.

Some people are a bit worried to step into a Muay Thai gym for the first time, but this place is for everyone!

Go visit! Highly recommended!

I live in Chiang Mai and started going to The Camp 3 months ago. I had never trained before and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I have been able to learn so much in my short time. All the staff is very knowledgeable and skilled to train all levels; they always make sure I am doing the proper technique. I go for fitness and it is always a great motivating workout. The trainers are very good at changing the workouts up but keeping it challenging. The workouts always start with some sort of stretching and cardio, then technique work, the pad work that is tailored to your skill level, and then more cardio style work, and ending with stretching.
The facilities and equipment is all new and very clean. I highly recommend trying The Camp out!

I went when it was quiet. I had some previous experience at other centers up in Pai and wanted to work on skills while in Thailand. It was far more expensive than my other training sessions and the gym was new so I was expecting good things.

I was bounced between 3 instructors who were messing around most of the time. They offered little skills training and focused more on fitness. Even then they did not push me enough and kept asking if I wanted to stop when I still had more in the tank. They assumed a lot based on me being an overweight white woman.

If you don't want to be pushed to hard, waste some money and want to use Muay Thai to train fitness, this is for you.

If you want to be taken seriously, if you want to really break a sweat, if you want value for money, if you want to learn some proper technique GO ELSEWHERE!!

We did a 6 week training camp at The Camp Muay Thai Resort and Academy and lost a combine weight of 30 kgs. The training facilities are the best we have seen with 4 international size rings, over 20 hanging bangs, a gym for weight training, a cafe with juices and healthy food and great on and off camp accommodation. The instructors are world class and get you working hard with lots of technique training and fitness improvements. The owner, instructors and staff are there to help you in any way you need and we can't recommend the Camp highly enough. Hope to go back soon to get even more ripped and improve our skills more. Thank you to The Camp. Graeme and Theodora
