I chose this place according to trip advisor and hotel.com. The place is a dump. The pictures on the website and on the ad outside their location is a complete lie. Because the room was already paid for, we stayed. However, I asked for a different room and was more expensive and equally disgusting. I am very upset with tripadvisor...

Firstly, we understand it was peak time and New Years, and we understand it's a guesthouse. For what we paid we expected more. The front counter lady was helpful but her English was limited. The cleaner was unhelpful, and not a good cleaner. We stayed in a guesthouse in Chiang rai (Baan malai)prior to this one and the standard there...

Like the location and accommodating host. Everything was great. I'll give it 4 star if not for the smelly fridge and lack of water boiler. The small market nearby was good to grab some local breakfast and fresh fruit. The massage outside was a bonus, it was great!

We booked a deluxe room over 2 months ago. The Hostel wrote an Email 2 weeks before the booking date, asking for a confirmation. We confirmed and got another Email, that our room was not available: we were asked to cancel the booking on booking com and rebook with another agency ( where you could not cancel your booking for...

We stayed 5 nights at this hostel and it was great for travelling on a budget. The four bed dorm was clean, beds were very comfortable. The owner is so kind, we stayed here during Loi Krathong and she had lanterns at the front desk which many of us set off on the roof of the hostel with her which...

The staff at the hotel are very nice and the room was wonderfully spacious and appointed with two complimentary bottles of water and a mini fridge. However our bed was really hard and pillows were lumpy. The uncomfortable bed combined with the hotel being located off a really busy street on the east side of the old city and that...

We loved this place. It was beautifully furnished, in a great location and the staff were absolutely lovely. Jik speaks really good English and took great care of my family and I. It is in walking distance to everything you need including the weekend night/ craft market. Can't wait to come and stay again.

Enter through it's coffee shop (new?) on the main street (Moon Muang), just past Soi 5. Moon Muang is one way. If the coffee shop is not open, the side entrance is just a few steps down Soi 5. The AnTeak hotel is a good landmark, just before Soi 5. The hostel/hotel has two floors. We found a deluxe room...

Check in at 6 pm was a little difficult as none of the girls spoke English and I wanted an upstairs room. They had to phone their boss who told me the single rooms were only on the ground floor. There was no other English speaking staff on site after 5 pm. The room however was fine and I felt...

Nice and well equipped rooms that are located in the old city of Chiangmai. All rooms are quipped with air conditioning and an ensuite toilet and shower. The rooms are clean, however compared to western standards the beds might seem a little hard... Still, a nice hostel in great location - not too noisy and with restaurants, massage parlours and...
