Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Simple hotel in the old town of CM. Easy to walk to temples and other places in the old town. Simple room with bathroom, AC. AC was noisy at night. No breakfast served, but two good BF places right next door. Free (instant) coffee, tea, water. Has a swimming pool, which is nice for the price. Reception happy to help with tour bookings (plus a discount).

DO NOT STAY! We were at the Nanya hotel for one night and covered in bed bug bites - atleast 20 each. Whilst the facilities appeared satisfactory, being woken at 5am being bitten multiple times was NOT enjoyable

Nanya Hotel was a perfect choice for our 4 nights in Chiang Mai. Rooms were clean and basic. We both found the beds to be comfortable enough and we had no problems sleeping! Location and price were perfect and the pool was great. Breakfast was instant coffee / tea and some crackers which was not what we were expecting but better than nothing! Staff was friendly and coffee shops and a mini mart were only a few steps away. The Sunday night market was about a block away and a must do!

As many others have reviewed - this is a no frills stay. There is very little storage space in the room and just a small chair and table as surfaces to use. But there is a bed, tv, water restocked daily, hot water for a shower, and that's really all that we needed for our stay. There is a breakfast snack of toast, cereal, and coffee/tea/juice every morning. The pool is nice, but lounging furniture is sparse. The AC in our room was not working very well and the staff were unable to call a technician in right away because it was a weekend, but they went above and beyond to offer us an alternate room in the meantime (two twin beds instead of one large bed) and offered us another room with a large bed the next day. Because the temperature drops quite a bit in January at night, we were able to sleep without the heat being an issue and really appreciated that the staff gave us options and checked in with us to see how we were doing with the AC situation! The location is inside the square close to good restaurants that are priced much better than those towards the south east end of the square.

Honestly this place was just ok. There were no elevators, the bathroom doesn’t have a door so when you shower water gets everywhere and you are unable to use the toilet. The breakfast was just coffee tea and toast with cereal I believe. It’s a place for a one or two night stay and nothing longer. Laundry service was cheap and amazing though. Toiletries were not what you usually get at other hotels. The ac wasn’t working properly but they fixed the issue for me. Just very meh.

Positives: Off the beaten path, but within easy walking distance to everything, which was nice since the town was very busy while two festivals were happening. Good, but noisy air conditioning. Clean, although at first I thought the bath towels were rags. Areas for Improvement: Sign at reception states services that are available and it includes “Call taxi”. When I asked for them to call a taxi for me, they said that it would be 200 baht to make the call. I just walked to the end of the street and caught a taxi within 10 seconds. Total charge to get to the airport: 10 baht. The Internet was very spotty and at times non-existent.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Nanya Hotel. It was really good value considering we had a very nice and spacious double bed room with modern bathroom, toileteries and free access to the hotel pool. They also provide towels for the pool which is nice. They provide free breakfast but bare in mind it's really basic. Also, great location!

Been coming to this place since September 2018 I ha e stayed with my mum my friend and my partner I've probably spent over 10weeks here in total price around 500baht a night. Nice clean double bed/twin, free breakfast, swimming pool, great WiFi, chilled night security, Amazing reception women and really good location... If there is 2 people all that for just 250baht each... Much better than a 200baht hostel

Unbeatable price and definitely nice enough for a stay. The A/C worked fine but was probably the loudest I’ve ever encountered. It would start and stop multiple times throughout the night and wake me up every single time. Earplugs didn’t help.
