This guesthouse absolutely exceeded my expectations. I stayed here with my partner during a trip through Thailand and Loas in March. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Clean towels, shampoo, bottled drinking water and internet access is all provided free of charge. The staff are friendly and helpul and really make you feel welcome. It's location is pretty handy... We stayed here for 4 days in the middle of March. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms which was lovely, clean, simple contemporary style (polished concrete and wooden slates on the floor in the bathroom) with 2 balconies one of which over looked the courtyard. The food was fantastic and really good price. The courtyard is a lovely... More

I stayed a couple of nights at Ban Kong Rao in middle of March and wished I could have stayed a week. Max and Jenny and the rest of the staff were all so friendly and helpful - service with a smile! A tranquil place in a lively area (about 8 min taxi ride to Chiang Mai old town) with... More

It's a lovely guesthouse located about 10 minute walk from the square. The rooms are more than just a basic room. There's a/c, fridge, tv, storage space, compimentary water,... More

We loved our stay at Ban Kong Rao. The rooms were clean. The service was impeccable. The food was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. The owners were great about accommodating our needs as a family with young children. We can't say enough good things about it.

I don't normally write reviews like this and only set up the account today - but this guest house is so good, I felt I should give something back. Plus, tripadvisor has never steered me wrong, and I'd like to return the favour. We stayed in Ban Kong Rao for a couple of nights at the end of Jan /... More

Well worth a stay. And I definately see why it's pulling high ratings on Tripadvisor. We loved the Ban Kong Rao. It's conveniently located, only a 15 minute walk to the walls of the old town, or 40bht in a tuk tuk. into the town centre. Jenny & staff were so friendly and nothing was a chore or task for...
