Too short a visit to Chiang Mai but was very impressed and appreciative of the Le Meridien hotel and staff. Easy check in, great poolside view of the sunset, fabulous staff in the lounge (thank you Cartoon, Noree, and Junior !) and just an overall pleasure to stay. Very convenient to walk to downtown and right next to night markets.

There are many good hotel with only 60 usd but this hotel is around 130 usd. I choose it for room service and security and things go as expected. Breakfast variety is not much compared with other 5 star hotels. But location is superb next to night bazar.

Pros: Beautiful Pool, Friendly Staff, Helpful Concierge Desk, Wonderful Breakfast, Relaxing Lobby Happy Hour, Location (Night Bazaar and Area Historic Temples) Cons: Room powered with key, Rush on staff with large tour groups (Breakfast, check-in, etc.), mosquitoes (unavoidable in this city, be prepared), small beds, older window shades without blackout drapes

Right from the moment I walked in I entered a world of politeness and hospitality. There are no words to describe the care and comfort experienced. The location is fantastic. The night market starts outside the gate. All restaurants are within walking distance along with the fast food joints like mc Donald's, burger king etc. The rooms are what you...

On our recent tour of Southeast Asia we stayed at the Le Meridien, Chang Mai. A nice hotel near the shopping district, China town, and Old town. The rooms were on the small side but how much time do you spend in your room when vacationing?

Loved the hotel staff they helped me out so much!! The food in the executive lounge was amazing - but be prepared the place gets packed and backed up on orders but this is fresh made food so just plan accordingly if you have booked tours.

Staff are very attentive and helpful, especially Ms.Janet, she always look after and take care to ensure your stay is flawless and impeccable. Room space is big enough and located in the heart of the night market.

This was such a fantastic stay. From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived we were greeted with kindness and the staff was so accommodating. The pool was so much fun, the food buffets were wonderful and being an SPG member was just fabulous there. We had cocktails on the 21st floor watching the sunset and were treated like royalty....

We stayed here after a recent Habitat for Humanity build. It's a comfortable, modern hotel; with all the Thai manners and delights that you'd expect in this lovely city. Since it's located right next to the night bazaar, you won't want for things to do, to buy, or eat. The staff are really great here as well. My wife fell...
