A beautiful oasis in the middle of the old city of Chiang Mai. Great location for seeing the town - and right in the middle of the Sunday Market. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. Pool area is a pleasant respite after a hot day of exploring. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Bathroom is ample. The staff...

This hotel is perfectly, centrally located in he middle of the Old City! Exploring every little bit of the Old City was one of our favorite activities on our honeymoon stay here. We woulds pend hours wandering around and picking up delicious snacks from any of the food vendors who were around. The hotel is also a short walk (<15...

Stayed here for 3 nights and I cannot fault the staff, location or food (although coffee is horrid if you are from Most of Europe). The only reason it is not 5 star is it is beginning to show its age in places.

It is a small and quite charming boutique hotel very near many sites, attractions, temples, etc. and near the old city wall. We stayed 3 nights and the main asset to this hotel are the staff. Extremely friendly and helpful down to the last detail. Room was a bit small but nicely decorated. Nice pool and breakfast service. Food at...

A gem in the heart of Old Town. We had a great stay for 5 nights. From the moment we were greeted at the airport by Dao, the stay seemed personal like we were the only guest. The staff was always courteous and attentive but Dao was extra sweet and kind. Most of the staff spoke excellent English so no...

Great hotel in the middle of Old Town. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice with lots of different juices and fruits, breads, as well as a hot menu with eggs, noodles, rice, etc. There is also spa located in a beautiful old teak wood building. We had several Thai Lanna massages at a very reasonable...

We stayed here for five nights recently. The position of the hotel is perfect to see the temples, and to be in the heart of the city. You are surrounded by little restaurants and bars which we used all the time we were there. On our more relaxing days we sat by the lovely refreshing pool. Whilst there are not...

We had a great stay at U Chiang Mai. The highlights for us were (1) the location and (2) the staff. It's in a great place to walk to different restaurants and the Sunday market takes place right in front of the hotel, which is great. Just make sure to take this into consideration if you need to leave on...

I loooved this hotel. The facilities and my room were so clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The location in the Old Town is perfect. Walk in any direction and bump into a zillion temples, restaurants and massage places (hotel also has their own spa). I recommend booking your stay during the Old Town's Sunday market because...
