If you're looking for "biggest-fanciest" and cutting edge technology, this is not your place. But if you want to have an amazing Chiang Mai experience where the front desk greets you by name when you come home each night - this is for you. The owner of the property, Toy, cooked our breakfast the first morning while we had the entire place to ourselves, and her main GM, Yumi, was amazing in her hospitality towards us and knowledge of the area. Rooms are also very nice. This place feels like "home" or like you're staying with close relatives, not a resort. Pretty awesome.

Simply wonderful, professional, super attentive and sincerely genuine happy, friendly hotel village and staff! We cannot recommend this village enough. I say village as the vibe the so relaxed and tranquil, with tropical setting, soothing music and exotic scenery and wildlife! The gentle trickle of water, the well thought layout and the luxurious rooms put you into ‘spoil yourself mood, from the moment you step through the gates. A little piece of heaven! You used the laundry service, ate breakfast, asked for recommendations in respect of local eateries. They also coordinated many taxis and transfer picks ups. We could simply relax knowing peace of mind and trust everything would run seamlessly. My final morning was my birthday and they were so sweet and made me a very delicious (Aroy ma), cake! Our first trip to Thailand.and we will absolutely be coming back to Chiang Mai and will only consider staying here whenever that time may be. Thank You 🙏🏼

Our group of 4 couples really enjoyed our stay. Yumi was such a great hostess - We were spoiled! Our morning breakfasts in the patio/garden were such a great start to our day. Yumi and staff had everything perfect! We loved, loved, Yuma’s local restaurant recommendations. Yumi even helped arrange gifts/flowers to prepare the offering for the monks and even a special blessing for our birthday girl. Chiang Mai is such a peaceful area and the people are so kind. Thanks Yumi for putting up with all my questions and making our stay PERFECT!

We stayed with friends in Amata Lanna for three nights. It is not far from old city and it is very quiet. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable and private jacuzzi is available . Staffs are friendly and helpful, especially Yumi. She confirmed the reservation of all the restaurants that I had made before arrival. She also booked massage and spa for us, which was in good quality and price was reasonable. Breakfast has different selections but is not particularly outstanding.

We stayed three nights at this lovely boutique style hotel. We arrived close to midnight, and we were created by a friendly check in concierge. Our room was large and the bathroom is equipped with both the shower and an oversized, whirlpool, Jacuzzi, stout tub. Housekeeping does an exceptional job cleaning our room each day and restocking with towels, etc. We were very impressed with the breakfast each morning, which included your choice of granola, omelettes, bacon, delicious variety of fruits, and the best sticky rice with mango. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, and the owner helped us to resolve an issue with a booking at an elephant sanctuary, which was incorrectly canceled, and they were able to get it resolved to us satisfaction. The hotel is located outside the old city, but very close to the night market. It is a very quiet location. We highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel on your next visit to Chiang Mai.

We visited Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Bangkok. By far this was our favorite place to stay. It’s a calm place in the middle of a chaotic city. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was tremendous. All of the employees were amazingly kind and generous with their advice. Yumi? was tremendously kind. Our favorite. I believe she waited on us at breakfast, each morning. We spent double the amount in Phuket and Bangkok for our stays. But, more money did not equal a better stay.

A wonderful boutique hotel. Designed like a traditional Thai guesthouse it has a red stone wall surrounding a shady courtyard, solid carved doors with wooden latches, high ceilings, four poster beds - but also jacuzzi baths, air conditioning, fast wifi and a pool. The grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful. There are just fourteen rooms. Yumi and the staff can't do enough for you, getting taxis and recommending restaurants, shops and tours. Breakfast is personally cooked to order, with Western and Thai dishes. There is no restaurant or bar, and not a huge choice of restaurants in the neighborhood, but you are only a very short ride from downtown Chiang Mai. Also check out the nearby street vendors for a quick snack. I would absolutely recommend Amata Lanna Village.

During my 2-week motorcycle journey, I treated myself to a stay at Amata Lanna Village in Chiang Mai. Note: there are two Amata Lanna hotels in the area. Khun Yumi, Khun Bird, the chef, and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay memorable. The breakfast, especially the shrimp soup, was delightful. The rooms are ideal for couples, offering a perfect blend for those in love or seeking to rediscover love within themselves. The discreetly integrated air conditioning ensures a quiet atmosphere. While there might be some road noise typical of a city, I always carry earplugs for a good night's sleep under any conditions. My experience at Amata Lanna was fantastic, and after two nights, I continued my journey north with a backpack full of cherished memories. I look forward to returning one day. Chok dee krab! Frank

It is a fantastic hotel boutique with only 14 rooms. The place is beautiful and the rooms are richly decorated in the lanna style. The jacuzzi is a plus and the toiletries are great quality. The breakfast is good but not so varied. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is located at about 30 minutes walking from city center but Grab is a good option to get there too.
