Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food is good but the temperature is not hot— there’s a burner for the food but i don’t understand why they don’t keep it ON to keep the food hot esp the soup. It’s a shame because the food here is actually potentially good. We stayed in room 208 for 3 days arranged by our tour company. The biggest disappointment we have is the shower—- the water temperature gets unbelievably cold or unbelievably hot! There is no in-between and trust me we tried — for 3 days —to get a decent shower. Tried to talk to management but i’m not sure they understand. We also asked for a breakfast box for one of our early tour day — they said it will be ready when we leave at 4 am. Comes 4 am, there was Nobody in the reception or restaurant and we cannot wait for anyone to show up past 4 am because we are on a schedule. We talked to the Reception Staff again about this, but again, no acknowledgement and frankly, i’m not sure how much they understand English. They smile pleasantly but that does not help when they can’t effectively be a part of the communication process. So… while this place has a boutique-feel with a nice set-up and the housekeepers really keep up with cleaning and daily bedsheet change— i would not recommend this hotel At Pingnakorn Nim Man.

An original boutique experience with some flaws. My girlfriend and I booked this place as recommended by my dad and I first I was a bit bummed on how old it looked. But on the inside it was quite nice, with a spacious interior and nice balcony with kitchen. The food at breakfast was also quite good, with my girlfriend mentioning the authentic food options. Some downsides included the shower, which the water pressure was low and the temperature was not consistent. Also, water leaked all over the place, which wasn't too bad but I felt bad for the housekeeping. Also, some staff around the hotel were nice but at check in, a nice reception lady was very polite but didn't tell us about the travel together program, minibar options or how to contact her, bed type before going to our room. However, after those complaints overall it was a good stay and hope to see a renovation some day in the future!

the hotel is from the outside boring, but the interior is a surprise - kind of colonial style with half stairs up and down; it's located close to an area with restaurants and pubs (not so close to the old town though) and it's close to the airport, which unfortunately means lots of noise due to the busy air traffic

I can't thank the staff at this hotel enough! They went above and beyond. AP and Puchong (as well as all of the staff I met) were amazing, kind, and attentive. The room was spotless and the bathtub in the suite was the biggest one I've ever been in. The hotel is right on the river so my husband and I had the opportunity to go for a walk up and down the river in the evening and that was magical. The colors, the decor, and the personnel are all excellent. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the Riverside venue was such a treat!

Very good value for 59AUD with a mainly vast Asian syle breakfast. Character filled old style reception and dining areas, but during my one night stay, the sewerage smell in these areas was overwhelming with floor fans on to move the smell. Room, quaint and clean and comfortable. Noise carried from the corridors and this hotel is on the flight path - take off. WIFI in my room #102 very difficult but good in the reception area. NOTE: Lift available but only in between the 5 floors of rooms - so you will need to lug your suitcases up or down stairs. Not a place for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems.

Rooms were spacious and the price was very affordable. The hotel is beautiful and gives you that cozy feeling. It is next to a river and many great photo opportunities! We stayed in the suite for a night, and we realized that the door towards the bathroom was see-through, so no privacy if you're staying with others. Breakfast was so so. But overall great stay! Would come again and recommend others.

In a walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also it is close to pub named Warm up which popular among local. This place has limited parking lots, around 10-12 slots. There is an elevator but on mezzanine floor then you need to carry your luggage up to access the elevator. Deluxe room space is ok, but no working space. There is sofa with a lower table. Since it locates in the city then they decorated room with curtains but no real door or terrace. The best thing I like is variety of breakfast. They serve local food for example “Khao Soi”, “northern sausage”. Hotel staffs are helpful and nice. Paying less than a thousand baht per night I think it is really ok.

Tidy little hotel, not the newest building but can't complain for the price. Breakfast had a nice selection. Was a short walk to Maya shopping center and lots of food. Staff were accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

Right where the famous street, Nimmanhaemin. This homey unique style is towards the end of the Soi (small street). Rooms have different styles and colours. Breakfast serves local menus and few other things. Staff are all friendly and helpful. We wont recommend this hotel for those who travel with wheelchairs as lifts are placed during each floors. Guests need to take a few steps in accessing the elevator. Hotel does get noisy as we keep hearing whats happening outside of our room.
