We had one night in Chaydon before our flight. Location was very nice - close to public transport and restaurants. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was basic but good enough. There wasn't remote control for air-con in the room but they brought it after a call to reception (?) Young lady in the reception was very...

The hallway reminded me of an old prison (long and tight corridors), room was spacious and bathroom was nice. Staff was helpful (also for short-term requests). I didn't enjoy the area too much since there was not much going on.

Bangkok was really great but very, very hot and humid. A lot of attractions. You need about 4-5 days to see all. BTS Skytrain/MRT/Taxi were excellent. Please dont take tuk-tuk - they will cheat and rip you off unless you really bargain. Starting taxi meter fare is 35B with 2B increase for a certain distance. The Grand Palace/Emerald Buddha/Wat Pho...

We only stayed here for one night and it was fine. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Room is a bit outdated but not too bad. Good value for money. Close to trains. We also used the friendly taxi driver who has a desk at the hotel to get to Koh Chang for 4000baht.

I was on Busabout tour, on 03/12/2016 the tour guide ask female manager to print out a few pages itinerary for me, she demand for B190. Money hungry!! Made guest feel unwelcome! I don't like the location, it's a long walk from train station, situated in a busy road, no street food vendors, no coffee shop, only one 7/11, a...

I was returning to Thailand from a long trip from Canada so I booked the Executive room to treat myself to a bit of comfort. For 1200B per night (breakfast included), I feel that the room was not worth the price of an "upgrade". The room itself was nice, bathroom was good and amenities was fine but I don't see...

Located in the business and diplomatic district of Bangkok, this hotel offers value for the money according to the room rates and the performance one can expect for. All over it's O.K. for a one night stay, if one e.g. have to deal with an embassy closeby. So I can"t understand some of the previos feedbacks about this hotel aiming...

Stayed there for 5 nights, must say hotel location is very good, within walking distance to Silom Area for Party. MRT and BTS station also about 10 mins away. The reception staffs were helpful, but cleaning staffs are not so efficient. The superior rooms with windows were very spacious, nice set up, loved the red couch, nice bed but only...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
