Impressive modern hotel with excellent Thai hospitality and service. the two of us booked into a club room which meant availing ourselves of the club benefits like breakfast, afternoon tea and free drinks and canapes in the evening from 5.30 pm to 7 pm, The location is 4 minute walk to Siam central station the skytrain BTS where for around 16 to 45 baht ( about a AU$ or less) you can travel to many places around the city. You need to transfer to the the MRT trainline which is similarly low price for the tourist temple area of Wat Pho and the Palace etc. You can transfer to the rail link to go to the airport. There are lifts to help with luggage. The gym, sauna, steam room swimming pool and gym, including yoga area are all spacious, clean and well maintained. We accidently ended up in the CRU sky bar when trying to use our free mocktail drinks at the Cocoa pod but it was an extraordinary experience resting on a couch 57 stories high with cocktails and snacks. Amazing...and the hit to the wallet worth it. There are vegetarian choices in the club room meals but not much choice for the vegan. The Veganerie Soul restaurant at Paragon Siam Mall is highly recommended, I went there for lunch everyday, only 2 minute walk from the hotel.

1st time staying at Centara Grand and my experience was a very pleasant one. We were greeted by warm concierge and receptionists upon arrival and was given a very beautifully renovated cozy room which overlooked the Pratunam area. We dined at Red Sky upon check in; the food were immaculate and the view up on the 55th floor was gorgeous. Our stay was so comfortable and convenient as there were plenty of shopping choices eg Central world that just downstairs or Siam Paragon that was a stone throw away. Despite the yearn to head out, we often chose to stay in and enjoy the comfort of the room. Thank you for making our first stay a pleasant and memorable one. We will be back!

Upon entering my room, I couldn't help but notice a discrepancy in the room setting. The nightstands were unusually far apart from the bed on both sides, leading me to question if it was indeed the Club Deluxe room I had booked. This prompted me to double-check whether it was a deliberate arrangement or an oversight by the housekeeping team.
In addition to the room layout concern, I'd like to express my thoughts on the pricing of rooms with club lounge access. The cost appears disproportionately high, particularly when considering the inconvenience of having to make a call to request basic amenities such as an iron board and comb. Moreover, the perceived misalignment between the quality of the food at the club lounge and the increased cost raises questions about the overall value of this accommodation choice. Despite acknowledging recent renovation efforts, I believe a reassessment of the balance between pricing and corresponding amenities is necessary for a more satisfactory guest experience.
During my stay, I also encountered an issue with the efficiency of water drainage in the shower, requiring a waiting period of approximately 5 minutes until the water cleared. Addressing this concern would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience.My disappointment extended to the pool area, where I found essentials such as coconut water and bananas to be unavailable. Given Thailand's reputation for an abundance of these items, encountering shortages at a prestigious five-star establishment like Centara was unexpected.
As a guest, I firmly believe that the consistent availability of simple yet quintessential items significantly contributes to the overall enjoyment of the hotel facilities. Therefore, I kindly request that you explore ways to ensure a consistent supply of these ingredients, particularly in the pool area.
While I understand that occasional inventory fluctuations may occur, I am confident that, with your attention to detail, such instances can be minimized. I sincerely appreciate your ongoing efforts to maintain a seamless and delightful experience for guests.

My husband and I had a fabulous and relaxing vacation in Bangkok to celebrate our anniversary. We've stayed at other hotels in the city but by far we love the Centara Grand at Central World and would not stay anywhere else! Its proximity to everything made our trip the most enjoyable even despite the rainy weather. The hospitality of the hotel staff is unsurpassed, reservations supervisor Mr. Lalipas Roongsiraritthipong (Hong) in particular as he responded to my e-mail inquiries and confirmed my request immediately and everything was exquisite in the immaculately prepared room. When we arrived late in the evening, the front desk staff were ever so welcoming as they knew we returned back to the hotel after several years away (due to the pandemic). The amenities was everything you could ask for and the room was beautifully prepared. The hotel is thoroughly clean in all areas we visited and attention to detail makes this establishment ever so impressive and stood out among the many hotels in and around the vicinity. The buffet served has a huge selection to choose from including a gigantic croissant big enough to feed an entire family. There is a huge mall Central World attached to the hotel so we took advantage of the tons of retail shopping, the marketplace, the relaxing massages, the cinemas and of course the delectable cuisines that any palate would enjoy. I am so happy the country opened up without restrictions so all can enjoy the beauty and hospitality that Thailand has to offer. We cannot wait to go back again and of course stay at the Centara Grand at Central World!

This is a hotel that has a great location and great convenience to amenities. There is Big C supermarket, Paragon Supermarket, near the BTS, and next to a few huge malls such as Siam Paragon, Platinum. And it's directly connected to Central World, which is just next door literally.
We were probably one of the last batch on Test and Go. The swab test was done quickly and we got our result pretty quick, in a few hours.
We did have a chance to try the in room dining food, which wasn't that fantastic. Our daily buffet breakfast at level 24 was marginally OK. While it has a wide spread of food, the content can be a bit boring as we stayed for couple of days.
A very bad experience at the hotel has given us a second thought if we should choose the same next time.
When we came back to our room around 10+, we were welcomed in the room with a very strong paint smell. I was nearly choking myself while trying to figure out where the smell was orignating from. We made a call to the lobby and was told this was due to a renovation job on level 51. I'm extremely disappointed that a painting on level 51 would have the new paint smell flooding downwards. And a 5 star hotel like this did nothing to prevent it.
While the team was quick to offer a new clean room, we realized that the new room was smaller than what we were originally assigned to. The fridge was smaller cause things we were able to put in before, now had to be squeezed and some left outside. Even the toilet was smaller. Anyway, not kicking a fuss up as it was past midnight. And it's such a chore to move rooms.
Our stay would have been almost perfect if not for this huge imperfection. Very disappointed for how a 5 star hotel operates, especially amidst the post covid recovery.

What a welcome!What a stay. The staff were friendly and eager to please and assist. Our timein suite 51 was like coming home. The waiters and waitresses were delightful. Khemanat, Palida, Supathida and Somosakul were first class. The rooms were ultra clean and the beds and pillows made you feel like you were sleeping on clouds.The laundry service was extremely efficient and the gastronomic food spreads were mouth wateringly sumptuous. I would strongly recommend this hotel to one and all. Not to forget it's location......could not ask for more. Thankyou....Martin

The Centara hotel was very convenient interm of location and the room was very spacious and hygiene. I was staycation in this hotel in the beginning of this month found something was absolutely perfect and something was very disappointed. Having said that, the staff leader Khun Vipark, and his team, Khun Patat at the The Club were very friendly, attentive and accommodating me while I was dining there with friends. The staff offered me the sparkling wine pairing with my breakfast, which I was absolutely impressed and amazed me with their highest quality of the service, the Sparkling wine was served with the right temperature, the champagne flute was kept chilled before giving a pour. They cleared my plate right after my dishes were done without my prompting. However, the noodle soup at the club was not hot, that quite disappointed me.
The hotel also have a very nice top bar, which gives me 360 degrees with panoramic view of Bangkok at night, but the staff at the Red Sky Bar was very rude to us, they lacked of business awareness so we went down stair for our dinner at the Red Sky Bar, the restaurant was not full but the staff there didn’t give us any options for a table, the staff there again didn't tailor to the customers need, I believe the hotel should have well-trained staff, not anyone could work there, and the food quality was not meet my standards, the Lamp chunks was too chewy and stinky of lamb, but thanked God the Australian Shyraz helped getting rid of the stinky smell of lamb dishes. However, I would like to see the improvement of the food quality and high level of service standards the Red Sky Bar, please make it worth dining in the future on my next staycation.

Our trip was from 29/2 - 3/3. The size of Club Suite was very comfortable for our family of 4. With a stand alone living room for use for tv dinner/ supper to the service by Mr Muek and his team at the lounge was fantastic. Though we have our preferred seat at the corner with the tv, his team will always check and attend to us promptly. He offered for us to try the Thai Pa Thong Ko which we enjoyed even without the condense milk. The taste was light and the oil used was fresh. We used to stay near hotels around Platimium mall but felt Centara Grand at Central World was much better due to the prime location and the convenience for food with a direct access to the mall. We have stayed there for the past 3 years and always had a pleasant experience with the hotel. Good job to the newly renovated lift lobbies, its more visually pleasing and feels refreshed.

I am not sure if hotel serves halal food. However, the hotel is part of the complex where access to the various F&B outlets is easy. You will have a lot of choices.
