Initially we were supposed to stay on the Valentine Day's weekend. We had to postpone till mid March to better understand the whole virus situation all over the world. I booked the "Travel Comfortably and in Style" package. It was totally worth the money because initially my understanding is that you would have to stay for 3 nights at least to qualify for to and fro airport transfer but since I was staying for 2 nights, I was happy to get 1 way transfer from the airport. To my surprise at check-in, I was informed that I qualify for the return transfer back to the airport. Both trips were done in Toyota Camry and was very comfortable.
At check-in, I went to the main counter at the ground floor and only to be whisked away to the executive lounge on the 6 floor. Since we were just in time for the evening cocktail, my partner had his food while I processed our check in... pretty neat room with all the standard hotel amenities... and the mini bar was complimentary apart from the wine you had to pay for it. Breakfast was excellend minus the morning crowd, i think because not many guests. That saturday afternoon we took advantage of the "Chocolate Buffet" which is complimentary for all executive lounge guests. I'm very satisfied with my stay at Movenpick Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok. Also guests staying at the executive are entitled to 2 pieces of laundry/press services which I didnt utilise. Lastly, my partner accidentally broke the toothbrush glass in the toilet. I reported it to the front guest officer and was prepared to pay a bomb for it. To my surprise the cost was waived off. In summary, I will be back to this hotel. So many wins

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Upon check in we upgraded to an executive room which the front desk staff recommended to us as it included a lot of really nice extras. Was such a good decision to fork out the extra $30NZD per night. amazing room with lovely view, and so many complimentary things included - we didn't pay for any drinks at all (this includes unlimited cocktails like mojitos, gin collins, aperol spritz etc..) and all breakfast, most of the mini bar was also free, and we could dry clean several items a day for free too. Best of all we had access to the executive lounge which had free canapes in the evenings which was more than enough for dinner and which we took advantage of for several nights of our stay after long days sight seeing. The pool and roof top bar are amazing, lots of areas to chill out at the end of the day. The highlight though was the breakfast each morning - so many options and everything was delicious. Location was also excellent. Highly recommend staying here and superb value for a 5 star hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Movenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15. Room was spacious, very clean, and very comfortable as well. Love the bathroom, the shower especially. The service was excellent, especially those guys at front door. The swimming pool was quite small, but I prefer to shop and wander around Bangkok instead of swimming. Breakfast was okay. But some pastry are not that fresh and I had breakfast 4 times in a row and started to feel bored on 3rd day. Hoping for more selections on local cuisine. The only complain is about check-in process. I send email few days before asking for 2 rooms on the same floor and near of each other because I traveled with my elderly parents. But upon check-in they offered me two rooms on the different buildings which I refused. So they tried to find me 2 rooms on the same floor, and ended up they gave me two rooms on the same floor but very far from each other. I mean very far because we had to walk from one of the building to other end. One of the room was excellent, but the other room wasn't since it had only 2 glasses (the other room had 6) and no iron. Nevertheless, this hotel is still a great option if you want to stay in the heart of Bangkok. It's very close to Terminal 21 which connected to BTS & MRT Station. There were 7-11 next door as well. Will stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

My stay at Movenpick Hotel was wonderful and I am so glad I picked this hotel with the many options available in Bangkok.
The pre arrival communication was great, check in at the executive floor was seamless and staff so friendly. The room was large and clean and practical. The included breakfast and evening canapés for executive floors made the price worthwhile. In my opinion there was a great selection of food and drinks. The gym while small had everything I needed ( a good functioning treadmill) and the pool really was an oasis. I walked each day to the train station which was only about five mins away but those with young kids needing strollers might find this tricky due to the sidewalks. There was a tuk tuk that was available to take people to the station that I didn’t use but saw frequently.
Would recommend this hotel for a central hotel with all the needed amenities. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The service of this hotel is terrific as I couldn't find any of its staffs were offering standard service. All staffs were as hospitable as you can get in Bangkok! One particular staff named Chacha even very helpful for me as he was offering almost like personal assistant service to my every needs.

The hotel itself is spotless it is not directly located to the main road which makes it great actually especially for those who seek for not too noisy area. Transporting to shopping mall (Terminal 21) which is only a walk away distance was easy since there was also free tuktuk transport every 30-min to the mall and Asok BTS skytrain station.

Pros:
Great location in Sukhumvit, close to all the nightlife areas. The shuttle to the Skytrain station is a huge plus. Front office staff are very friendly; big shout out to Alice, First and the fabulous Cha :) ! Wonderful concierge team also - thank you all for your patience.

Room was OK, comfortable bed with numerous pillows. I got the deluxe so had a rain shower and separate tub. Generous supply of all toiletries and weighing scale.

Laptop size safe provided as well as ironing equipment which comes in handy for the business traveler.

Breakfast was decent though can feel monotonous after the 3rd or 4th night. Rooftop bar: well, it's on the 8th floor so not much to report regarding views.

Cons:
Serious issue with plumbing that needs urgent fixing. My toilet bowl was almost overflowing upon flushing on two separate incidents.

Furthermore, the water in the shower kept getting super hot every 2 minutes so I kept stepping away which waters down the rain head experience. Can even be dangerous for kids who could be caught unawares and get scalded.

All in all, would go back.

Just completed our 4th stay here and this is my final verdict:
(stayed 4 times because we bought a lot of vouchers when they had an incredible sale)

After our first stay, which was a catastrophe from a customer service point of view (facilities (pool & gym), rooms & food at Lelawadee is good). We actually really enjoyed the rooftop area with the pool and loungers and the fake grass part and the bar up there. Really nice in the evenings.
But customer service is poor. Poorest I’ve experienced in Thailand.

From that stay on it was a slow, but continued improval, but by the 4th (and probably last) visit we are still not convinced of this hotel.

First visit:
Took them more than a week to confirm my booking. Baby cot wasn’t in room as requested. Extra towels took 2 days to finally get to our room. Breakfast was SO slow (waited a good 30 minutes for a scrambled egg). Ice Cream order at lunch took about 30 minutes. Don’t have a tuktuk/shuttle to get to the main road (even tho it’s advertised on website)

in between:
wanted to book a room and got told that they switched back to Hospitel service, so can't accept normal guests for a month or two. Very annoying (but understandable that they are trying to make things work for themselves in the CoVid climate)

Second - Fourth visit:
Quick booking confirmation. Baby cot still not in room. Breakfast better. Lunch & Dinner, staff is just not quite up to it. Example: we have to ask for the baby chair every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even tho they see us come into the restaurant and know that we need it every day. Room cleaning didn’t get done even though we were out from 8am - 1pm, hand turned the ‘make up room’ light on. Still no TukTuk/shuttle.

Short:
You’ll have a fine stay here, but compared to other hotels in this price bracket you’ll get better service elsewhere.

I would have loved to love this hotel, but with all the competition in BKK, we probably wont return (unless they have an amazing sale again).

Reserving an Executive Room was a real good decision. We were so pampered at the hotel by everyone. The room was well furnished. Bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower room that gave us a choice.

The roof top bar was well equipped. The hotel really provided enough options for food and cocktails. The Executive Lounge provided enough complimentary food and drinks for you not to go out if you didn’t feel like it. To offset the over-eating and drinking at the complimentary Executive Lounge, a well equipped Fitness Centre and Spa is provided on the 6th floor to work out which I found very useful. And if we felt like going out, a free shuttle is provided every 30 minutes to a Shopping Mall and a sky train station to avoid looking for a Taxi which is often very difficult to find.

Since we visit Bangkok couple times a year we have decided to make this our permanent second home in Bangkok.

I stayed here for a few nights with 5 of my friends. The staff are very warm and friendly. The hotel itself is very pretty. The pictures I saw from travellers don’t do it justice as when we arrived I was surprised at how nice it actually looks in person.

The rooms are very clean and can find everything you need it in. Shampoos, lotion, soap, slippers etc is given.

We also had breakfast included which was really tasty and a wide selection of things to eat.

The restaurant in the hotel is open 24 hours and the food there is amazing!! I would highly recommend visiting it one night.

Very organized and disciplined on the pick-up and the transfer, the hotel and the services seem to be more of a 'running without management or oversight'. Need to work on the basics like:
1. For those stuck in the rooms for 2 weeks, find some comfortable chairs, these are probably the most uncomfortable since I was at High Schook - a long time ago
2. Turn on the water heaters, the hot water is lukewarm at best, have they not paid the bills, or has no manager ever tried the showers in their own hotel
3. Stabilise the internet, again, since guests are in for 15 days, stop having it cut out or freeze.
4. Think about doing more than the minimum' again, guests are stuck in the room for 15 days, if they have a 'reasonable request for assistance/errand, etc. don't give the "not part of the service"
5. Again, jet-lagged, stuck in for 15 days, and the Room Service closes at 9.30 pm?
6. Food, requested that you book weeks in advance, but barely achieves the level of School Canteen level of quality

It's a little walk to the main shopping precinct but using any other form of transport means that you miss the smaller venues and sights along the way. The hotel staff were most obliging to arrange a taxi to the airport. Don't miss the Irish pub down the road...
