The hotel was good for the price, the rooms were a bit tired but they were BIG, air con, safe, fridge and kettle, you do need your own tea and coffee. It was about a 20 minute walk from Sukhumvit MRT but they had a free shuttle tuk tuk to take you to the MRT or the skytrain. The staff...

Spent 19 days here, so I know it pretty well. It's about 200 meters from Sukhimvit. There is a 7/11 on the corner for conveniences. If you walk down Soi 31 to Sukhimvit you can get street food or, if they aren't out there, you can walk 1 block left on Sukhimvit to Soi 33 and there will definitely be...

We stayed at this hotel for eight nights and enjoyed our stay. We found the staff to be very friendly and always willing to assist. The housekeeping was very good and could not be faulted. Whilst a 30 minute walk to Terminal 21 a TukTuk was available thru the day. Terminal 21 was a good place to catch the railway...

Don't stay here. I have been in Bangkok many times and stayed at over a dozen hotels and hostels in the area. I had to stay here two nights when I had no other choice as everything else was booked out. For much about the same price and even less nearby (even on the same soi) you can get much,...

Good location in Soi 31, easy travel to Prompong and Asoke (CBD Area). Rooms are not new but they are alright. Nice and helpful staff - plenty of restaurant and shopping malls nearby also the popular Peppina Pizzeria just 1 min walk!

Nice location and nearest to Sukhumvit center. Room, hotel service and breakfast are fine matching the pricing. Some staff are friendly but some acting too busy without service mind. Overall is acceptable and good as budget accommodation.

Had booked 9 nights but only stayed 2. It was that bad. Don't be conned by the website photos, they were when the hotel was new. Our room was grubby. There was paint peeling off one wall and other walls stained brown. There was also mould around the shower edges. And the kettle was dirty inside so didn't use. But...

This is the most terrible hotel I have ever stayed in!! Not in the physical condition but in their staff's attitude!!!! If you are reading this review, I hope that you can choose other budget hotel rather than this. They are three things I want to criticize: 1. The staff at the reception always put on a bitter face. She...

When we arrived in the morning, we didn't expect our room to be ready. Exhausted by travelling, we finally found the hotel after a long walk dragging our suitcases, we thought it was walking distance from BTS. Upon arrival, the most unfriendly and cold receptionist told us the first thing "check in after 2 pm" without greeting even though I...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
