Luckily we only had one night at Retro. The receptionist was very unfriendly and wouldn’t help us with our luggage.
The hotel doesn’t provide any breakfast or any food options either. The pool was filthy along with old plastic sun beds which were awful.
I stayed there for one night.
This is really just a place to sleep. The hotel is old, it needs renovation, the swimming pool is very shallow and not very inviting.
But the location is great, rooms are basic but clean.
This hotel is terrible take notice of the negative reviews as they are so true..hotel Corrider looks more like a row of prison cells..room full of bugs..damp and the smell disgusting..beds rock hard..quickly left and won't recommend putting my dog in here..nothing like the pictures...More
The hotel has a different shape. If u walk from the Main Street you meet first the reception then a big area with pool and beds for chilly. The pool is surrounded by the rooms .

This is not the smartest, glamorous or most funky place to stay but the rooms are fine if basic, the staff are friendly and there is a small pool steps from Sukhumvit Road that is a real oasis from the busyness of Asok and the...More
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

I gave you the opportunity to provide a better service at the time of my visit. I spoke to the Operations Manager and asked him to resolve my issue with the rooms and he simply took me to a budget room and told me that was the best they could do. Therefore I have no intention of returning. Writing a follow up letter promising better customer service in the future is simply a load of words put together to sound as though you actually do offer customer care. You did not and therefore they are empty words until such time as you put in place management that can actually deliver.
