We stayed at the Nappa Place for 3 days when we arrived in Bangkok, before going to the countryside and we slept there again the day before leaving Thailand. The place is very nice. When you arrive at the hotel, they have a blackboard with your name to welcome you and a nice ice tea. People are warm and helpful...

Great hospitality; I emailed the host beforehand to let him know I was arriving in the middle of the night. He was waiting for me in the lobby with tea. Clean, quiet, and close to the skytrain. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was that the sink and shower drains drained water very slowly. I would stay there again.

My family stayed here on their recent trip to Bangkok. One of our concerns while selecting a place to stay was trying to avoid the more popular hotel areas such as Nana or Asok due to the remaining Shutdown Bangkok protest camps (which at the time were still clogging the roads in those areas). Be that as it may, since...

We enjoyed staying at Napa Place very much! Very big room, clean, more than abundant breakfast (rather a lunch, changing every day) and extremely friendly and helpful staff. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to the next sky train station. Also, we could go to a close modern gym for free (thanks to a collaboration betwen them and Napa Place):...

We were greeted by very friendly staff when we touched down from a 10 hour flight. We had a suite which was large but the bed was a little too firm for me. The hotel is a 7 minute sweaty and dusty walk to the nearby sky train station but the hotel does have its own tuk tuk that will...

I really enjoyed my stay at Napa Place. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is walking distance to BTS and several nice restaurants which were also major pluses. Also the little things - the way they welcome new guests in the house - you are first asked to sit back for a moment in...

We have returned to Napa because they are so friendly. It is like a home stay. I don't take the breakfast because it is not that good but the rooms and people there are fantastic. The location is very good too. It is easy to walk there from the BTS and they have a cart that will take you there....

This place defines "boutique hotel." A wonderful quiet place to stay. Feels partly like a friend's home. The rooms are spacious and efficient and the location is fairly convenient with just a short walk (7-10 min) from the Sky Train, Thong Lo exit. Their English is great and the staff is helpful. Breakfast was lovely and decor is trendy elegant....

Good place with the most friendly and cooperative staff. Spacious good rooms with a very home like environment. Pick up and drop is available to nearby areas.. they have their own tuk-tuk. Food (Breakfast) is decent.. they tried to include vegetarian food in the menu for us. Be here to feel at home. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed at Napa Place in early February for 3 nights. Our time in Bangkok was spent out and about - exploring, sightseeing and touring the city. It was fabulous to come back to a quiet, yet convenient, little neighbourhood, and have a calm, cool and very homely place to rest up. Napa Place felt like our own little apartment,...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
