Kevin, the manager, truly is one of nicest gentlemen you could hope to meet. His staff and hotel are outstanding. They should charge double what they are getting. Every question was answered and I could not have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic hotel -- stay 3/4 times per year on business & also if visiting as part of holiday in Thailand. Small hotel where you can feel part of the family -- nothing is any trouble whether you need help with taxi, sightseeing or even just need to get your trousers shortened. Rooms are comfortable with TV satellite, DVD & wifi...

If you want somewhere peaceful, no fuss, with polite staff this is the place to stay in Bangkok. It is relatively inexpensive but that is not echoed in the service and room that you receive. As foreseen by other reviews, Kevin was helpful and attentive, on hand to give suggestions and directions should you need it. The skytrain is just...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a visit to Thailand. The location of the Hotel is good and its tucked away in a little side street away from the noise of the main road nearby. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was in need of a little attention. The shower was looking a little old and I'm not...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
