Nice hotel, I stay at Bangkok City Suite from 5th - 7th Oct 2016. Public transport quite difficult. Receptionist unfriendly, difficult to smile. To stay in Bangkok, be careful not to be fooled by tuk-tuk and taxi driver, they will bring to long distances to impose an expensive charge without opening the taxi meter.

Good rooms. Clean bathrooms with a bath tub . Huge breakfast varieties. Nearest metro station 1 km. Nearest 7/11; 3-4 mins walk. Another connecting station Phaya thai. Good and cheap street food available on the opposite side at a distance of around half a km.

I used to stay in this hotel when it first opened in 2005. Recently stayed overnight with a friend and found that it is in need of a refurbishment. Cleanliness standards have dropped and the furniture is getting old. Walls are very thin and I can hear what was going on in the room next to mine. For 850baht a... More

I have used Bangkok City Suites for many years. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest Bts, and a short taxi to Siam. Rooms are basic but clean, and no senic views from your windows. The breakfast is ok, with a choice of mainly thai food, or eggs and toast. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about... More

The breakfast are really good and various which made me totally satisfy. But since it's near the highway, it likes took me hours to walk to the centre of Bangkok. Even the closest convenient store is about 15mins walk. And Wi-Fi is poor, definitely. But highly recommend for people who travel alone and prefer relaxing to exploring!

I used to stay here plenty of times when came to do my business in Bangkok, because of its location and the cheap rate. The service was just so so; I mean the staff did their job but didn't particularly impress me. There's breakfast buffet available in the morning. My hubby enjoyed its variety; to me it was ok. You... We stayed here thankfully only for 2 nights, as it's not such a great place to spend much time in. The good thing is that they offer a decent room for the money, nothing out of the ordinary but not bad either - just the basic stuff that you need. The not so great thing is the non friendly, non... Stay at this hotel because of business trip and our client is located beside this hotel. For this kind of price, the service is unsatifying. The receptionist is not friendly, can't speak english well and they already print the script of credit card payment before we came without asking what payment will we use. I came with 2 colleagues, i... More
