When we arrived at the hotel after a long tiring flight we were told our room had not been booked. The booking error had been made by our agent, who had booked and paid for 3 nights stay in July instead of October. I do feel the hotel should have notified the agent that there was a 'no show' in July which would have given plenty of time for rebooking. The promised river view was largley obscured by another building. Otherwise a very central location for the Royal Palace and friendly service.

Great location, tucked down a quiet alley, nearly on the river. Amazing river views in several rooms. The desk clerk, Pam, was super helpful, kind, funny & personable. We walked to the pier 5 min down the road & used the Hop-on/off Boat to visit different sights. Had a great time in Bangkok & a great stay here!

We had a very good days in this hotel. The place is excellent, the view to the river very nice, the hotel is very confortable and the staff always want to give us the best of them. If I had to say something wrong it could be about the breakfast. The breakfast is very short and limited, you have to choose the kind of breakfast the day before and it is not a buffet. The rest, perfect.

We had a great stay for three nights in Aurum the River Place ! The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly, smiley and very helpful!! The breakfast was nice, served in a small cafe in front of the hotel and the river… I surly recommend this hotel!!

This hotel is located very close to Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. The service by the hotel staff was great! The breakfast was made-to-order and very good. Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel.

Wife and I spent two nights at this hotel. Excellent location right on the river and very short walk to major sites, particularly grand palace and temple with famed reclining buddha. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast on the river was a superb way to start the day. And proprietress was so kind and helpful. Was such a great way to start our Thailand vacation.

Nice place, good sevice, friendly staff. Close to the temple, local market. Quite room with river views, excellent location within walking distance to major points of interest. The staff are so nice it's more like a home stay. Breakfast on the river is a delight.

This is a very nice hotel in a nice location, but the cons outweigh the pros for me. Cons: -Staff is not available 24/7! In fact, if you go out at night or anytime past midnight, you will find yourself locked out of the building having to stand outside and ring and ring and ring the doorbell and then call with your international phone plan (bummer if you don’t have one) the front desk. (You’ll also have to alert staff if you’re leaving early to the airport for the same reason). Why do I have to keep the staff updated of what I’m doing as if I was home? -Of course, in doing so, the entire building wakes up because the worker on duty has a deep sleep, so we had an instance where we woke up in the middle of the night since someone had also gone out and rang the bell. -Breakfast is required once you select what you want. They will do a wake up call if you’re not down before 10 am (or if you want to sleep in, which isn’t allowed in this hotel). They don’t communicate that breakfast is required so you will find yourself on vacation feeling as if you’re home and mommy required you to wake up when you wanted to relax. Pros: - location to historic district, top things to do, MRT, River boat, 7-eleven where it’s quiet overall and safe -nice rooms overall Unfortunately, I asked to speak to the manager to leave this feedback so that I’d not leave a review like this and could provide ways for them to improve, but I did not get to speak to the manager. Or the lady at the front desk is the manager and pretended she isn’t. Either way, it’s unprofessional. Will not be returning here and do not recommend.…

Fabulous location! Centrally placed in walking distance from all mayor attractions, ferry and metro. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean with enough shelving to store all belongings. Comfortable beds; modern, renovated bathroom. Pam and the staff were always there, ready to help, always smiling. The entire hotel give up a very relaxed Parisian vibe. · Breakfast was delicious and freshly made to order but lacked some more choices if you were staying longer. Overall I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

This place was so wonderful that I was sad to leave after a week! The staff was so sweet and accommodating and I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler. There were adorable personal touches at every turn. The area around the hotel is also fantastic—very walkable, right on the water, packed with little gems and only steps away from major attractions like Wat Po and the grand palace. It was so easy to beat the rush at these spots and go back to rest or have coffee/tea in the heat of the day. Highly recommend, and cannot wait to go back!
