Great view, Good location, friendly and helpful staff (Thanks for nice service Mai). Short distance to visit Arun temple with ferry near by. Nightview on riverside balcony is very pretty. Roof top Bar is recommended as well. Rooms and surroundings are a bit outdated.

Lovely eatery with an amazing view. Waitress Mai is a lovely girl, good f&b service. Breakfast was good. Ambience cosy and inviting. Will definitely come again in future. The suite was perfect...facing wat arun.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,

this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to

As other responders noted this is not a luxury property. My wife and I stayed in the Arun Suite, with a private balcony overlooking the river, with a great view. If you can get that room I think it would be a great... More

To walk to the entrance it's about 15 minutes. Arun residence is situated at the back of the palace which is just less than 5min away.
