Great view, Good location, friendly and helpful staff (Thanks for nice service Mai). Short distance to visit Arun temple with ferry near by. Nightview on riverside balcony is very pretty. Roof top Bar is recommended as well. Rooms and surroundings are a bit outdated.
Having found this restaurant with some difficulty we were disappointed to find the view obscured by buildings on both sides. Admittedly it was late to have lunch but the food was disappointing also. The coffee bar a few sois along afforded a much better view.
Wonderful viewing river side and pagoda.
With full tasting of cocktails.
You can suggestions to yours friends and family to visit hear. One time in Bangkok must hear.

We should admit it is the best suite offering the best view of Wat Arun both day and night, without doubt.
Great to access the Way Pho and Grand Palace nearby, and 4 baht to ride on a boat to Wat Arun.

Lovely eatery with an amazing view.
Waitress Mai is a lovely girl, good f&b service.
Breakfast was good.
Ambience cosy and inviting.
Will definitely come again in future.
The suite was perfect...facing wat arun.
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

As other responders noted this is not a luxury property. My wife and I stayed in the Arun Suite, with a private balcony overlooking the river, with a great view. If you can get that room I think it would be a great romantic honeymoon spot. I don't know about the other rooms. The hotel is small and the decor has a charming eccentricity and a "funky" ambience. I mean that in a positive way. As others noted it has a great location for walking to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun is across the river. A ferry terminal is nearby to cross the river. Amorosa Bar is a nice spot to have a drink and watch the sunset and the restaurant on site is convient for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Other dining is within walking distance.
