I booked this hotel as the last 2 nights of a very bust Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand trip and it looked so relaxing and peaceful. I was blown away when I arrived, it was better than I haad expected! The staff were friendly and helpful. The massage lady, Pen (sorry if I spelt that wrong) that gave me a 1...

This address is really perfect if you want to enjoy a bit a calm in the patio after a crowded day spenf in the street of Bangkok. Besides, the staff is really nice, speaks good English and is always willing to help. We really enjoyed our stay in the place and invite anybody who stays in Bangkok and do not...

Being a solo traveler and first time being in Bangkok. The staffs from PN had been helping me so much before I even stay there. They were so patience in answering all my pre-trip queries. Upon arrival in PN, I fell deeply in love with the vintage decorations in the different corner of the hotel. They just open their Roof...

Phra-Nakorn is not professional run hotel, but a family guest house with a lot of personal touch. The people there are nice and ready to help. They will go an extra-mile to make you comfortable. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Do not expect this property to be a hotel like, rather expect a rustic old property charm. Also...

This was our 3rd visit to PN. It is such an easy, comfortable place to stay. The staff make it, so friendly, nothing is a problem, even when we woke in the middle of the night (jet lag)Sam was so lovely, made us their gorgeous ginger tea to help us settle :-). They surprised my partner on his birthday @breakfast,...

The lobby and restaurant are decorated with fake storefronts advertising vintage merchandise, the hallways are painted like a village street, and each room has a unique mural. Fun, charming, and family-friendly, with two child play areas. On-site massage and restaurant. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood only a few minutes walk to the water taxi for downtown Bangkok.

Thank you for your kind review ka. PN was an old building before the ages is more than 35 years now. So it not easy to have many facilities like what the 5 star hotel are. The space, the building, the location everything is reflect to the past. The size of the room that is small let us know that...

We had such a lovely stay at Phranakorn Nornlen, Pretty, quirky, friendly, great location, great for children, very clean, lovely people. We tried 3 rooms, interconnected and 2 triple rooms, I think they market these as twin, but there is a big bed and a single bed, easily big enough for mum, dad and our 2 children. The location is...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
