We loved everything about this hotel - its quirkiness, the facilities, the location and the staff. The best place that we stayed at throughout our trip to Thailand. The breakfast area downstairs and 'lounge area' to relax in were great as well. We stayed for three nights and loved our room. The location was great too - it felt like a part of old Bangkok before the building boom.
My friend and I stayed here while we were visiting Bangkok. It's an excellent location, close to the palaces. The breakfasts in the mornings are DIVINE - amazing food for a free breakfast. The hotel is also so thoughtful: free bottles of cold water for their guests. The decorations make the place seem so homely. Wonderful hotel!
I absolutely LOVED my stay at P-N. The experience more than surpassed my expectations, which were pretty high based on the photos and reviews. The property is off-the-charts adorable. A million little details give the hotel a shabby-chic charm with a decidedly Thai flair. The staff was so helpful and acommodating. They were very gracious when I mixed up the time for the cooking class, and when they had a lovely birthday gift for me on by birthday. The hotel is sort of off the beaten path, which is a big plus. The neighborhood is authentic and not touristy, with lots of delicious street food and a convenient 7-Eleven right on the corner. The major public transportation systems don't go out there, but there are buses if you're brave enough to give them a go. I used the express ferry about a 5 minute walk away to easily get to other parts of the city, and cabs and Grab (works like Uber) are easy to find as well. I took a cooking class from Jah in the charming rooftop kitchen, and it was so fun and delicious. Due to both the time of year and that the Corona virus was just starting to impede travel, it ended up being a private class and I'm so grateful she went ahead with it for just me. Jah uses herbs she grows in the rooftop garden, and she also uses them to make the soaps, shampoos and laundry soap used at the hotel and sold in the pretty little gift shop. I also had an hour long massage in the lovely massage room. It's more expensive than you find on the street, but still only $10 and the space is really relaxing and pretty, the masseuse did a great job, and I was able to schedule it late on the night before I left and just sort of pour myself into bed. Luxury! Returning to P-N after a day of sightseeing is so relaxing. I loved being able to end the day lounging in the courtyard with the complimentary iced tea and crackers and unwind. One minor note, the mattress in the bed is kind of hard. It was fine for me, but I'm used to a memory foam mattress. If you have any back issues that are impacted by a very, very firm mattress, this may not be the place for you. I highly recommend this very special place!…
This is a great place to decompress. You'll not find a TV or a minibar in your room-rather hand painted walls, hand made curtains and a kicked-back vibe. The staff is very accommodating and the location is close in. I would recommend this place as a nice change of pace.
Very nice place, so beautiful, people are very helpful and the place is cosy and warm. We really enjoy our stay in Bangkok thanks to this place, it is very quiet and located in a great neighborhood. Yan can go without any doubt.
