From the first step inside you are greeted and treated like you are a special person and made to feel welcome. Always greeted with a smile, service and facilities are exceptional and lucky enough to be upgraded to a large suite. Fabulous location close to nightlife and transport with no noise from outside. Highly recommend

I had the privilege of staying at this hotel while I visited Bangkok. Without question, one of the best hotels in the city. The room was really large and great amenities (such as super fast wifi and gorgeous views). The breakfast was grand and featured delicious food that I had never tried before. Most of all, the staff was exceptional....

Stopped at the Grand for 2 nights before moving on to a quiter relaxing part of thailand, hotel definitely not 5 star, rooms were large but need updating etc etc, in busy redlight area of sukhumvit region, if you wanted to get to better parts of bangkok you must get taxis, skytrain or tuk tuks, breakfast was ok on both...

Booked the hotel through booking.com. Check in was very smooth with an upgrade in room for free which was nice. But upon leaving the lobby you get quickly realize that this hotel is past its prime. Decor is tired mildew everywhere and my pet hate of smelly shower curtains was ever present. Breakfast in the morning was okay, nothing too...

Stayed here with a friend for 4 nights in middle November. We were upgraded to a Suite FOC when we arrived. The Check-in was a bit of a pain and they seemed to keep saying about different amounts that needed taking for Deposits which I didn't really understand why, when it was all pre-booked. Then there was an issue that...

Very warm atmosphere. Personel's cordiality was atvery high standard. Tried the food through room service and was superp. I understand why their restaurant was always packed with Thai businessman. Rooms are very big. I think they could although be more optimised in space. I usually prefer when it is allowed to open (safely) a room window

We got a fantastic room-rate for a 2 night stay, the Hotel itself is very big though not on the main road so you do have to walk down some dark Soi's if you have kids or girlfriends. Really close to the Nana MRT station though, and of course the Sukhumvit street market and 'entertainment' zones. The room I got...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
