We were walking through China Town in Bangkok and decided to eat at the little restaurant at this hotel lobby. The staff was extremely nice and the food was outstanding... the prices even better... great place!

We just reached!! Went to china Town area we entered to RedRose bar and it's amazing. Atmosphere is amazing with love band. But what made our experience extra ordinary is Mr. Bank and Mr. Tim. Really thank you for making our first day in Bangkok fabulous. We will come back and recommend it to all travelers

We recently stayed at Shanghai Mansion and were delighted to stay there. The hotel is perfectly situated, in the heart on the Yaowarat Street; river and palace are right nearby. Overall, service was impeccable. The hotel food and beverage manager 'Timothy' made us a huge favor by contacting our equipment agents for us. One of the best staff we have...

Firstly the reception staff were very helpful on our arrival, we had missed a nights sleep due to the timing of our flight and felt extremely tired. We were supposed to wait 6 hours until the room as ready at 2pm but they had it ready by 10am so we could have a nap and freshen up. The hotel has...

I'm probably going to come across overly critical, but the Hotel, it's website and the reviews set a rather high expectation of this hotel. In some instances I was disappointed and in some instances I was neutral. Not once was I blows away. Apart from the great cocktails. I have been to BKK a hand full of times now and...

This hotel is like nowhere I have stayed before. The rooms aren't huge, but full of unusual features. It is well situated in the middle of Chinatown. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a well-presented buffet with food freshly cooked to order if you wish. Evening meals are available, but there is plenty of choice within walking distance, including...

Stayed here for one night. Nice quiet little cosy place to stay on a busy street of chinatown. F Gives you a funky mood from the moment you walk into the hotel til the moment you leave. Definitely would come back here again.

Shangai was blissful after a long flight a lovely atmosphere as you left the hot hustle and bustle of the street - I prebooked the hotel from UK and I'm pleased I did. We checked in early, and greeted warmly with a cooling towel and drink. The staff were welcoming, room was delightful with a large bed - albeit hard...

Dear zahida t, Thank you for your kind comments. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Most beds in Asia are firm, however we have tried to keep a good balance. So glad you received a massage and enjoyed the nightly live jazz at Red Rose, our lobby restaurant and bar. Kind regards, Woralak "Aey" Bangprasert General Manager

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
