I have stayed here many times. It's okay. But one of my main criticisms is the quality and quantity of TV channels. I don't want to avail myself of the local street entertainment but I do like to watch English channels on TV. For years they had CRT TV's in their compact rooms (in a quiet corner at the back...

I can't comment on the hotel as I didn't stay there. My experience is with the lobby coffee shop. Whenever I'm in Bangkok i have my breakfast here but not anymore. The main problem was the waitress. When I walked in there was no greeting & definitely no smile. I ordered Canadian bacon & eggs. (that's the reason I go...

Just yards from the famous Nana Plaza, this hotel is ideally located. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Free Wifi. Safe in Room. Café / Restaurant at street entrance. Service a little slow, but reasonable value for money.

The Dynasty is in the heart of the naughty nightlife, so if you are bringing a family with you go somewhere else. But if you don't mind the "excitement" around you, this is very good value for the money. It is close to shopping and good restaurants, and it's just off the BTS. It is also only a long walk...

I stayed at the dynasty in my first trip to Bangkok in or around 1999. At that time the room rate was 790 baht per night they only had the one building at the time they did not have the new wing. It was very clean perfectly located and very good value. So in December 2014 I decided to maybe...

Room 602 for 3 nights is the best room I have ever stayed in here. My wife and I stay in Bangkok for 2/3 nights every year before going up country for a while before pattaya. This year I stayed alone as she came to Thailand ahead of me. Lots of mentions of rude staff on here. I've never found...

A friend of ours booked this hotel and I was very scared being a Sofitel, Sheraton girl. But this place was great value for money and near everything. The deluxe room is clean and large. Beds a little hard, but that's personal opinion. Wifi has great signal and beer is very cold. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

I sadly cannot recommend this hotel due to the consistently rude and unprofessional treatment by staff. Restaurant and front desk staff are indiffeent to the needs of hotel guests. I was particularly annoyed by the smirks given me by front desk staff who had no intention of taking my concerns seriously. With the number and variety of similarly priced hotels...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
