At first, you have to know its not a 5 star hotel. But you don't pay also not that price. We booked a room in there new part. Also the " highest" price level. But for just 1600 bath a night its perfect price quality value. Big room good very clean showercabine. Minibar. Very good security. I think the cheaper...

This hotel is fine if you don't have much money to spend on a hotel. just don't expect many amenities like good towels or hand towels. Basic service, friendly enough. Some restaurants nearby. Make sure you consider all your options before choosing this hotel. There are many others that offer more for less.

Convenient place for silom and Babylon sauna. Reasonable prices and nice pool.Nice restaurant downstairs. Mali nice reastaurant round the corner, where the Swedish royal family used to frequent with Thai and european food.

I stayed at this hotel in May, 2012. The hotel is accessible by cab, and they know where they are going from the airport if you provide them with an address. The hotel is descent quality with a nice pool and internet in the building for a small price. The price is quite cheap, so if you are hoping for...

This hotel is a good 3 star type hotel offering good value. Location is good with a MTR Station about 7 min walk from the hotel. I found the staff very helpful and went out of their way to give directions and offer advice. If you need a taxi or tour guide the hotel has one on offer for airport...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights a couple of days ago. The maxim you get what you pay for applies to this place. We booked into a superior room for 2 days. We had to extend our stay in Bangkok by a day, and that was no problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their English language...

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my recent visit to Bangkok. My first thought on the hotel was it looked clean and basic. The room was clean, however the staff at the reception were unfriendly. They have a pool which I didn't use but it did look clean. After checking in I went to the cafe for...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
