The hotel is located on a quiet street near khaosan is good location. The accommodation was three days without cleaning or towel change took place. average rooms match the price and comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant at a price adsequible but I preferred eating at the site I saw the waitresses remove lice between them. But the hotel is... More

Stayed here on my first trip backpacking in Thailand. I loved this place because you're close enough to Khao San Road where the backpackers are but in a nice and clean hotel. Food is really nice and cheap, rooms are also cheap and service is great. Not recommended for families as it is at the back of khao san road.... More

Stayed here for a total of three nights with a group of four friends, two guys and two girls. The hotel is located on Soi Rambuttri, just off Khaosan Road. This is excellent because it has the double advantage of being close by to the party scene, and also being at enough of a distance that you can sleep undisturbed... More

Me and my boyfriend are travelling the world and this is the cheapest place we stayed and it's actually really good! Rooms are small but very clean, aircon and wifi work really quick and good. Shared bathroom clean. Only bad thing is there are no windows so feel a little bit like a prison. Pool area is great! Area is... More

We stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. It is in a great location only 5 min walk from the main backpacker area at Koh San Rd. Quiet area if needing to rest. Restaurant downstairs is decent, good western breakfast $5 Cad. Lots of local shops within the area. Rooms are a little expensive compared to some a few more... More

The hotel itself is located a bit off the main drag of Khao San Road. The restaurant area is very nice, if a bit overpriced. It seems the higher up you go, the less nice the rooms look. When booking on Agoda, some of the information was unclear about exactly what kind of suit you would be getting. For example,... More

As many people have already said here, you cannot expect high standards from a 10€/night double room! We were really pleased that we found something cheap near Khaosanroad that wasn't as noisy as the main road but still within 3 min walking distance. I think third floor might be the best choice because it's not that many stairs but still... More

We only needed a room for songkran and this place seemed like the best location. It was great for the location and the food was good but slightly overpriced for what you get. The drinks are ridiculously over priced so we never bought them there. The room was basic and very small. Our bathroom was gross, broken shower, broken toilet... More

It’s not that it was a bad place guesthouse, rather that it’s unremarkable and average for the price range. The single room featured a double bed, a safe, TV and very little floor room. The bathroom was small but not tiny, windows opened to Bangkok so it was always going to be warm in there, oldish tiling, decent hot water,... More

We had a good time there. It was my last night after a longt journey through asia. In my opinion prices are little bit to high. Service wasn't that good, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. Location is great, close to Khao San and Chaopraya River. Could have been worse, but next time i probably will check another place.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
