The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the people who work there are kind and helpful. I stayed in one of the rooms with a bathtub, which was so lovely. A cold bath was a fantastic reprieve from the Bangkok heat!

How can you call a place a "hotel" when the hotel owner runs for a medicine when he hears you coughing ? Isn't it almost a parental care when your breakfast is prepared uniquely for you entirely upon your wishes and requests with great care and the best ingredients. Every single guest enjoys the rich variety of the breakfast exactly...

We had three nights at the Inn with our two children and we absolutely loved it. Our room was quirky, fun and comfortable and the staff very kind, friendly and helpful. They served a delicious local breakfast each day. We would love to stay again one day.

Staying at the Old Capital Bike Inn was like staying home. Jason and the staff were very warm and accomodating, they looked to our every need and were always happy to extend help when we needed it. We loved our rooms, they were cosy, tastefully decorated. My teenage boys and their dad enjoyed the bike tour with Jason. It is...

This place is a treasure and in fact I wish to keep it as undiscovered as possible - a private secret precious place to go. I took my elderly parents to Bangkok and wanted to stay in a small and personal place that would have all modern functions yet give the feel of old Bangkok. This place is unique and...

We very limited time in Bangkok so chose to stay near the attractions to get a feel for the city. It's such a pity it was so short because it meant that we weren't able to really enjoy this fabulous hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. Not only did they provide everything we needed but they gave us...

I can't speak for the accommodation rooms, as I only stopped in for a drink and snacks. The small reception area was very inviting and they confirmed they serve coffee, beer, and snacks. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance very relaxing. They offer a simple variety of snacks and drinks, including Thai craft beers (180 baht).

Old Capital Bike Inn is a hidden gem. They serve delicious breakfasts, free night bike tours, unique rooms, with an immensely friendly and helpful staff. Little gifts were left in our room each day when we returned from exploring Bangkok. Even after we had checked out and left our bags there for our last day in Bangkok, they had a...

Dear Aileen and Danny, It's such a pleasure to hear you both had a wonderful stay with us. And yes, having a great shower before a long haul flight is always a good idea, so we always make sure our guests have access to that. Thank you again for staying and hope you're home safe by now! Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
