It is with much regret that my review of this hotel is going to be somewhat negative. We are annual travellers to BKK and have stayed at this hotel on at least 5 occasions for week long periods. Until our last visit the hotel, staff, service etc have all been brilliant. This time round however, the service was atrocious. The...

Excellent location - literally 30 seconds walk from Pat Pongs night market (cannot hear a sound from the outside though in your bedroom). Food excellent, free breakfast with everything you can think of on the list. The pool area is lovely, although by about 4pm the sun has ducked behind the buildings. Friendly staff - although only a few speak...

This little hotel was pretty good value for the location but it was a little tired. The rooms were comfortable and a/c worked well but it just felt worn. One thing I would mention is that this hotel is pretty much in the centre of the red light district, so if you do not like that activity so close to...

Price, location, room, staff services, facilities, pool, everything is good. Completely satisfied for the small price we paid. All are friendly, all are nice. Nothing unpleasant to say here.

Not a value hotel in a so so location. The rooms lack basic necessities such as tooth brush and complimentary coffee n tea. The bathing spot needs lighting and tv should be bigger n newer. Overall, not a hotel I would come back to.

The hotel is perfectly located and you are in the middle of all that is happening. This hotel was in traditional Thai styling and had everything you needed but I still felt done in. As someone else put it, the room looked tired. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt well looked after. Breakfast was the best we've...

There has been a few negative reviews of this hotel. After reading them carefully, it came down to differences in expectation and cultural shocks. I hope my review can give you a fairer point of view of this hotel. This hotel by no means is excellent, but it is not that bad either. I wouldn't recommend it to people who...

We always stay in this hotel. It's small and quiet and the location is perfect. I also like the small garden and swimming pool on the roof. The whole hotel is like a peaceful island in the middle of the huge city.

Booked through Asia Rooms at great rate. Ideal city centre hotel in traditional Thai styling. Room clean, well serviced and all staff friendly and helpful. Adequate breakfast and good on site restaurant. Rooftop jacuzzi and small pool great after a hard days touring/shopping and only 5 mins away from Patpong Night Market. Will definitely return next time in Bangkok.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
