This is our second stay at the Rose and we booked because we loved it the last time 6 years ago. However the facilities seemed a little shabby this time and poorly maintained. We booked a suite this time and although the size was very...More
Stayed here several times over the last 13 years. The hotel continues to improve. Now has a pool and very nice restaurant. Not the highest rated but clean, hot water, great guest service and in a good position close to Pat Pong 2 and night...More
I stayed here 6 years ago and again today. You get a decent room and breakfast for a fair price. A 2 minute walk to the night market and BKK shady late night if you are into that. The pool is awesome. Always clean and...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

I have stayed here several times. I enjoyed each stay and I would go back! The pool is by far the best feature of this hotel. The front desk staff are not super friendly but they are nice. Just not overly nice as you come to expect of the Thai people. Rooms are a little dated but they are fine and for the price, a great choice! The wifi is so so and it's horrible that they charge for it but c'est la vie. I sat give this hotel a shot! you can always move if it doesn't suit you... but i think it will!
