Excellent value for money we stayed in a deluxe double room, with hot tub for two days whilst we overnighted in Bangkok on a cruise. The hotel is in the backpacker’s area of Bangkok near Khoasan Road. Its location is great for visiting sites such as the Royal Palace, the Emerald and Reclining Golden Buddhas as well as many other tourist sites along the Chao Phraya River.

We made use of the rooftop pool and small gym. The staff were mainly young and really helpful. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was quite good for a small establishment. Room was clean and comfortable and the jets on the hot tub are quite powerful so ensure you draw the curtain around it whilst filling the tub.

Very good location/starting point for Bangkok. Helpful tuk tuk’s hang out in front of the hotel and willing to take you on tours of the temples/sights for reasonable price. Close to necessities: 7/11, massage parlor, good restaurants, and laundry service all right down the street.

This hotel is very quiet but close to many small eateries and bars. Very clean, firm bed, good shower with bubble bath. Good air conditioning, but noisy. Nice swimming pool with a view and good sun loungers. Very friendly service. Taxi service to the airport costs 500 bath and is an hour's drive (without traffic jams). Very friendly staff and good breakfast with lots of variety. I would recommend this hotel.

Location is the only good thing about the property.
2 days here. Despite calling itself a 4 star hotel, the property didn't offer laundry service, i was retuning from Cambodia and was in dire need of doing laundry and had to go out to a laundromat to do mine. Room design and configuration eas extremely bizarre, bathroom didn't have full walls, just up to the middle and the upper part offered a sliding curtain for privacy, most of the bathroom was occupied by a jacuzzi. I was a solo traveler but can't imagine the privacy issues if traveling with some else. Also Day staff was unfriendly aneunhelpful, especially the girl of the reception, which seemed unable to speak basic English, she just make gesture and said a couple of loose words, that made it difficult to understand her. My booking didn't include breakfast, the first day I paid at the reception and gave me a ticket for the buffet, I wanted to pay the 2 days breakfast and wasn't allowed. Day 2 I went to the reception and the girl (the one that can't speak English) said "no" and "go restaurant" and pointed towards, I asked why since the previous morning was different and she just repeated "go restaurant" and continue pointing. I went to the restaurant and there they were perplexed to why I was requesting a table without having a buffet ticket. Nevertheless they allow me to sit me when I told them the girl of the reception sent me here; halfway my breakfast they came with a receipt for the buffet I gave.my credit card and put it for payment, they return it saying I need to sign the receipt and will be charged at the check out, where I will have to pay, I was annoyed since could just had paid upfront, more so after I saw another tourist came in with the same breakfast ticket I was given the previous day. Other incident was that on day one I requested to have a taxi call for going to Mahanakhon tower and they told me they couldn't help me, that here they use an app call Grab. I told the concergerie that I didn't want to use an app and I wanted for them to call me a taxi, they didn't and I ended taking on the street. I used serval hotels during my trip and this was the worse of all.

A "front office manager" not listening and closed to discussion and who closes the possibility of talking to his superior. Very poor reception quality of TV channels (see photo) and HS remote control battery. Hardness of mattresses. At the foot of the hotel presence of a canal where your sorts of rubbish pile up (see photo) causing a foul odor in the neighborhood (catfish make the happiness of local fishermen ... that is!!!). A pdj that is not worth its 299 THB: not famous coffee, stale croissants, omelets barely warm. Air conditioning from another time that makes a deafening noise. No laundry service offered by the hotel. A breakfast box that will have been charged 299 THB and composed of an unfortunate piece of ham between 2 half slices of bread crumb, 100 ml of orange juice and 1 full croissant (the CHILLHAX specialty). Switches in all directions (at least 5 to fully turn on the room).

I relied on prior reviews - bad idea. Lobby and rooms with dated furniture, peeling purple fake leather in the lobby; everything closes at 8pm, including the pool; all superior room views are of the building next door - so close you can see everything and they can see you; restaurant morning buffet terrible with limited items, of questionable freshness. But, the best? Coming back to room not yet cleaned after being out all day, asking that it be cleaned after 5pm so we could shower for dinner, and then the cleaning staff showing up at 4pm insisting they clean (which would mean us leaving the room) as the get off of work at 5pm. Total indifference to customer service. Good things - the two women at the front desk who tried but couldnt change a poorly managed hotel.

My boyfriend and I chose Chillax Resort for the first leg of our trip in Bangkok. We were very happy with the level of service and our room had everything we needed. The hotel was quite far from the main Bangkok airport, but in a great location in relation to the Grand Palace and many of the famous temples. There are many great restaurants/bars just down the road offering authentic Thai cuisine and generally everyone was very polite and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay that much that when we returned from our 2 weeks of travel around Thailand to Bangkok - we decided to stay at Chillax Resort again. This time we booked breakfast, which was well stocked and had a variety of continental food, as well as Thai noodles and curries which we thoroughly enjoyed. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Bangkok!

I wanted to like this place. It had a great location, close to Khaosan Road and other restaurants nearby, but the staff and service was disappointing and unhelpful. During check in, I asked the front desk if they offered any services, such as spa or any others, as we were celebrating our honeymoon. She said no, which was fine, but she gave no other info or explanation on anything else, if breakfast was offered, where the pool/gym was, the massage (which was closed during the whole stay), and was a bit rude. After waiting for our room key, which didn't even work so we had to go back down and get another one), the room was nothing special and a bit outdated. I wanted to like it it but the service sucked.

Hotel is very well located in the old city being a short walk from khaosan road with its life and also having restaurants, shops on doorstep. Staff are friendly, pool is fantastic with wonderful views. Although hotel restaurant shut bar open at pool. Rooms very clean and contrary to other reviews there is a blind you can pull to shut off the bathroom from the bedroom

Truly wonderful!
Great location near Khao San Road, less than 10 minutes walk.
The hotel is located in a quiet location but also close to restaurants and cafés. Convenient to everything.
Staff very kind and available for any need.
Wonderful room with jacuzzi in the room. Very clean room.
Great and excellent quality breakfast. Vote 10!
Rooftop swimming pool with massage spa and gym. Seeing is believing!
We asked for bottles of water and coffee for a kettle every day and they didn't charge us anything.
100% recommended.
I advise
