First time at The Emerald Hotel, my last stays in BKK was at Kantary House Hotel Apartments and at Grand Miracle Hotel near DMK - this depends to my meeting venue. . did not expect much at The Emerald - but my room 2458 is spacious, well-appointed room with king sized-bed and selection of either soft or firm pillows on...

I seldom get overly upset in Thailand but this stay wins it all. Was in town for a convention and was given a recommendation by the event organisers to stay at the hotel. First of all, the location is poor and close to lots of massage palours and the closest shopping area is a 600m away lined by a narrow...

I had never stayed in this part of Bangkok before but had some important meetings early in the morning nearby and did not want to spend 1.5 hours in the taxi coming from central BKK. I booked an Executive Floor room for USD$67 and was not expecting much. Yes, the hotel is past its former glory and could use a...

was quite impressed with this hotel, rooms were big and clean, amenities were excellent and the breakfast was really great. Front desk was extremely helpful, early check in and late check out, no extra charge, staff are really friendly and the restaurants serve great food, especially the Japanese one. After staying at the Renaissance only a few weeks ago this...

I stayed in twin room and my first thought of it is that the room is so huge! The bathroom has separate bath and shower and it's huge! The room was also clean. The staff is kind and friendly. The hotel itself is huge!! And located near the Tesco Lotus and on walking distance to enjoy local food. The Breakfast...

Location is good with 3 min walk to huay kwang MRT station and street market. Room is outdated although the cleanliness is good. Expect a lot of china tourist group as this hotel. Front desk is very helpful on your request.

I've stayed here many times because it is close to our office. I like the hotel especially if you stay in the rear tower block. The 27th floor is the best place to be. Many of the rooms have now been updated although they still retain the elegance of the place. Perhaps some things are still a little dated but...

We stayed here for a few days. The room was clean and modern. The rooftop pool was nice and complementary drinks were provided. The hotel is above a shopping centre and also has a good restaurant which provides Thai and Western food. The breakfast is especially nice.
