Every time I come to Bangkok I usually stay here. Really good cheap rooms (800+ Baht), which is cheap for the Sukhumvit area. Also excellent wifi, basic breakfast included, good aircon and excellent location. About 100m from the nearest BTS skytrain. Station is Phrom Pong. Bed is very comfy and a suggestion is to stay on the 5th floor. Rooms...

The rooms are nothing like the pictures. When I arrived, they have overbooked two guests and they have to transfer to another hotel. I thought I was lucky to get a room, but once I enter the room, it was the worst in all my travelling experience. The room was moldy, shabby and dirty. I immediately cancelled the room and...

The hotel is quite central - that's about the only plus. They wouldn't let me check-in early. Not just that, the receptionist (male, lanky guy), who was winding up his work, was getting annoyed for even talking to him ... Now, that's not what hospitality is all about. He told me i can check-in only at 2pm, and this was...

Molds in the bathroom. - Free but poor internet connection. - The water pressure decrease at the night, around 9 pm. If you really have to...

Made a reservation mainly due to a really good location next to BTS and an economical price. When I first walked in, reception looked nice and well maintained. The reception staff didn't know much of English however gave me keys to my room. I went up the room and it wasn't cleaned up yet. So went down to the reception...

The location is quite good and it is just a walking distance to Emquartier and BTS station. So, if you are coming from Suvanbumi airport to Bkk directly, you can take BTS easily so no extra taxi fee. The rooms are nice and their water problem (it usually run down the system). The room is clean and price is fair...

The location is very good as u need only 5 mins by walk to Emquartier. There are many restaurants nearby eg cheap thai restaurant in front of the alley and also japanese restaurants plus the convenient store. We stayed in the deluxe room at the side of the hotel. It was noisy during the day as the construction is beside....

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

  • Refrigerator - an old type, Looks like it needs a good facial :-)
  • The bathroom attached to the room was also a bit messed up, as water was seeping through
  • View from the entrance to show the space around the bed
  • The sink tap - besides shaky, it was not 100% clean
  • TV, and sink
  • The standard room was just enough for a twin bed and a little bit of place to move around
  • Near the sink ... the edges were coming off
  • The shower faucet was leakingand drops of water was dripping through the day
