1 hour after checking into this hotel we began looking for an alternative. We had a 2 bedroom family room, which consisted of 1 small room, a closet-like 2nd room with no windows and a tiny living room/kitchen. The room was old, musty and dirty. The walk from the entrance to the hotel to the room was endless. The hotel's...

This hotel was extremely busy the five days we stayed, but they couldn't do enough for us, we were even upgraded at one stage because we were left waiting during one busy time. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool, surrounds and outside bar an ideal way to pass the afternoon and evening for families. The breakfast was...

Our first and last nights in Thailand August 2011 were spent here and were impressed both times with the cleanliness, the helpfullness of the staff and location. Only a short Tuk Tuk ride to Khao San Rd, MBK, markets trains etc. 2 bottles of complimentary water in the room each day and others in the fridge we had to pay...

When my husband and I checked in to Prince Palace Hotel at 2am, we were told that they were booked nearly full, so for no additional charge we were upgraded to a large, luxurious suite on the 23rd floor of tower B. We felt like royalty in our plush surroundings, and had a fabulous view of Bangkok! Every morning, we...

We were 5 couples and we stayed here in August 2009 (3 nights). The rooms were quite dated but they were clean (including towels/sheets). It was just me that found a cockroach in the room once, but I guess that can happen. If you are a light sleeper the A/C generator hanging out the window may bother you with the...

We stayed for two nights here, room was spacious, beds and room in general nice and clean. We had got a cheap deal on Agoda and it was because of this that we were in the tower where the pool etc was-and found the room to be a bit dated and the corridors to smell a bit musty. Overall though,...

BEWARE We stayed in Prince Palace BKK twice during Aug 11. First stay was 3 nights, second stay 1 night. On our second visit the hotel charged us 120 bht ( £2.50) for the complimentary water we had consumed. ( 2 bottles) The hotel said they will be charging for the water as we did not leave the empty bottles...

The hotel itself is maybe a bit outdated, but for what you pay you get very good value! Huge rooms, which are very classically decorated. Very clean, nice big bathroom, big shower and bathtub separately. The room had a panoramic view over Bangkok with huge windows on 2 sides, which was very nice. Breakfast was included and had a lot...

This hotel was a grand palace like its name. The only problem was, there were 4 towers belonging to it!! We had to walk out doors with all of our luggage to get to our tower, we were just lucky it wasn't raining and the bellmen were bringing the heavier luggage... I wanted to be put in a room near...
