stayed 2 nights in superior room - v reasonable rates via web booking through UK agency. In a very busy and diverse area of the city with Nana Sky train station round the corner. Thai community mixes comfortably with Middle Eastern community giving this a dynamic and quirky place to stay including a lebanese/russian restaurant! Shisha bars, sex workers, great...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Zenith. The rooms are big and clean. The pool is great and usually not many people up there. There are A LOT of Arabs staying there.. Definitely a majority. As Canadians that don't cover our bodies up they did stare at us a lot. The pool staff were great.. we had some guests...

I stayed a few nights at the Zenith Hotel Bangkok. It's quite a modern hotel and the reception is the only part at street level then you have to climb a staicase to the lifts to access the floors to get to your rooms. The rooms were not big but clean and tidy with safe and mini bar included this hotel...

Sorry to report that this Hotel was expensive for what was offered and it probably should be rated at a 3 Star if lucky. Maybe even a 2.5. Firstly it is on a very busy main road, the decor is old and aged, the towels were frayed, the room was noisy and not inviting. There was no wireless internet in...

The most wonderful aspect of Thailand is the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately the Zenith staff were the opposite from what we have experienced in our travels. We thought that perhaps our 1st day was merely an off day for them, however not so! They were like this for the duration. We asked for a non smokers room and as...

The hotel is though comfortable to stay with a a family; however, it's much over rated and over priced. I guess it's just due to advantage they get for Arabs coming in to stay there and ready to pay as much as the hotel wants. Another reason is the facility of Hospital in its vicinity, Bumrungrad, where all Arabs and...

Highly reccommended, ticked all our boxes. Clean room with good view. We only stayed for one night, but it's very close to everything we wanted - such as the Skytrain. Staff very friendly but struggled with English. We arrived hours earlier than planned but they had our room made ready after a short wait in the bar for us. Roof...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
