...if you hate these disgusting guys sitting with a much younger Thai-Woman in a restaurant the table next to you.

From the charming Anong, who has been at the restaurant for 40 years (enjoyed the food and drinks), to the chillax cats, dogs, garden and old-world pool, writer's desk—the Atlanta Hotel is a fascinating place that is truly from a bygone era. That being said,...More
I wanted to like the Atlanta, I wanted to enjoy its eccentricity and quirkiness but unfortunately what I found was a miserable, uncared for relic long past it’s best with dirty walls and the atmosphere of a TB sanitarium.

A quiet, friendly place to stay in Bangkok. The food is good quality and the restaurant enjoyable and open from early to late. The pool is large and clean with pool-side refreshment service available. A recommended haven when in Bangkok.
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
The cats do wander around the hotel but don't bother guests at all. They do seen to like a pat but only if you want to give then some time. I never noticed any cat-pee smell at all, and I'm sensitive to smells and a bit... More
The cats do wander around the hotel but don't bother guests at all. They do seen to like a pat but only if you want to give then some time. I never noticed any cat-pee smell at all, and I'm sensitive to smells and a bit allergic to cats... No problem at all.
