Actually we were conned by some agents in the airport about booking this hotel. It was our first time in Bangkok, so we assumed it would be safer to book through a valid and legal tour agency at the airport. There was a van to bring us to our hotel. The driver was very friendly and he asked us how...

This hotel has the perfect location for those who will visit Bangkok just to shop at Pratunam area but the bed is not good. I had back pains in the morning and I cant sleep comfortably, even the pillow is too thick which gave me neck pains as well. The bathroom is not well maintained and the furniture is old...

Stayed here with my wife and a few friends last Nov 2010. The rooms we stayed in had a window but had a black wall for a view. Sink and shower head were installed a bit low which required me to bend really low to brush my teeth and take a bath. On our third and last night our A/C...

I had been on a 4nights 5 days trip to Bangkon and Pattaya and This is the hotel where we stayed while in bangkok. There is nothing significant about this hotel other that its proximity to the Pratunam market / Indra bazaar. Very mediocre service and definitely not something I wud like to recommend for my friends!!!

First, the pros: 1. Good location - in the shopping area of Pratunam, walking distance to Platinum Mall (via a footbridge), the Pratunam Market, and Pantip Plaza - near the Saensaeb canal line (under the bridge adjacent to Big C and MBK) if you're going to Banglamphu area where the Grand Palace, Wat Po are - foreign exchange right across...

We had a chance to have an overnight stay at First House Bangkok during our Thailand vacation. Surprisingly, the location is strategic to malls and stalls if you would want to shop however, the area around the hotel is bustling and noisy. This is not ideal for travelers wanting peace and quiet. Although the location is strategic, the hotel itself...

We were in Bangkok from June 5-8, 2010 and stayed at First House Bangkok. At first I was hesitant to stay there after reading the reviews here but we had no choice since we were on a budget so my officemate and I booked thru our partner travel agency (we work for a travel agency here in the Philippines). We...
