This was my second trip to this Hotel, after having spent 30 days here last summer. The staff is very friendly and the location is awesome. The rooms are a great size and the service is very efficient. There are numerous restaurants that one can go to. Oskars is one place that I would recommend for good dining, its down...

I have stayed the most in this hotel in Bangkok. Mini-suites in Tower 2 are value for money and come with host of amenities. Everything about this hotel is perfect including breakfast, location, swimming pool, parking, restaurant, room service e.t.c. I just hope the staff at the reception especially during morning hours could be more polite and courtesies.

I don't usually review hotels but I wanted to warn people who are considering staying at this place that there are much better hotels in Bangkok in the same price range. The rooms are old and smelly, the elevators in the 2nd tower are small and take forever, and the staff are the most disgruntled people I've ever met in...

Dear Sir We would like to thank you for having stayed at Grand President and for having taken the time to write on Tripadvisor regarding your experience. I was sad to read about it and have shared it with the Managemnt staff as we are keen to learn from positive and negative comments. Some of them can be addressed right...

This hotel was billed as five star but it was anything but that. The room was large but dated with peeling paint and scuff marks. The bathroom had old fixtures and needed to be caulked. Bottom line, for a five star, they need to spend some money to upgrade and get the room looking spiffy. They offered one extra pillow....

We stayed one night on our way home and for the money we spent you can get MUCH better in Bangkok The room was dated and in dire need of a deep clean - mold beginning to grow in the the thick dust in the celing spotlights, bath panel coming away, mildew in the bath. Service from reception was not...

I paid about THB2100 per night for a junior suite in tower 1. This is excellent value for money in the heart of Bangkok. Suites were huge & kids had lot of space to play. The size of the suite is really unbelievable & a very different experience from the tiny closet rooms normally available in city centers. Stayed on...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
