I've stayed in this Soi before at the Citadines apartments, so know the area pretty well. It's well located for Nana BTS station and a reasonable walking distance to other amenities. The hotel itself is in decent condition and the staff are friendly. The room was a bit disappointing, clean bedding but the cupboards were dated and needing repair. The...

Very close to Nana BTS but on a road that is quite quiet. The rooms are large and very clean. The hotel has a small swimming pool. On the same road as the hotel are a number of decent bars. The best food is at the Thai Cooking School on the other side of the road heading towards Nana and...

Stayed three nights in Nov 2013 on a business trip. The location on Soi 11 is central as well as at the heart of the entertainment street. All that one would need as a tourist is available on this street and the nights are lively. The infrastructure is pretty good though the services need a lot of improvement. The staff...

Stayed here with my girlfriend for two days. Good location near the sky train, tasty Thai food just around the corner. Very friendly and helpful staff, helped us with everything we needed to know. I'm a fitness guy and I loved the gym which were located just by the pool. Maybe "too much" if you're backpacking and just want the...

as a couple, coming back from the islands we had to spend one more night in Bangkok before traveling back home... we were in Baiyoke Sky hotel for 3 nights where we were paying around 110$, then Krabi Heritage for 100$ a night, so we wanted a kind of small budget hotel to spend the last night, so we choose...

We landed at the hotel to find that the rooms that we booked were not in the same building but a good 2 minutes walk away. They do make that disclosure any where before booking. We booked thru bookings.com. We had to trudge thru the streets of Bangkok dodging traffic in those narrow lanes to reach for breakfast. Also the...

Centred in the heart of the tourist district of Bangkok, the GPB offered easy access to the city sights. The Room was very spacious and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good with an abundance of fruits which I particularly like. The Swimming pool was adequate but the view of the city was something special. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights - at C$50 per night I didn't have much expectation. Room was spacious, clean and looks newly renovated. The "short" walk to BTS station didn't seems too short under the heat. But all the big malls are just a few stations away which is convenient. Breakfasts were included in our room price and have...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
